How close is the show to the comic? I don’t read comics but I like novels better than their movie renditions.
Tbh I'm not sure, I got through one issue and haven't gone back...no idea why.
I can't wait! Now that Black Lightning has wrapped, The Boys is the undisputed best comics-based show on television.

Home Lander is no joke. I like his character, I hope they don't do like Ozark and only have 4 seasons... This needs to last for a while. I just hate bieng watching it show, afterwards you want more!

My brother kept nagging me to watch this and I did. I will be honest, I couldn't get into it but I think I should try again cause the ratings are doing great and a lot of people I know watch it and love it. Was the first season just a lot slower to start with?

I may need to re-watch the first season, but I don't recall it being slow. IIRC, the action kicked off right away.
Home lander has to go all out this season. Omni Man raised the supervillain bar pretty high.
