The Metaverse Is Worse Than You Think
The hell is happening with people? The more I learn about the Metaverse, the more I feel this world is doomed. We are heading down some sort of terminator ish and most people will be plugged in and oblivious to it. Like, imagine 100 years from now people are just in tiny box homes plugged into some virtual reality while some robots are outside killing people.
I've been hearing and seeing a lot regarding this "MetaVerse." I am not too accustomed nor do I have the knowledge regarding the MetaVerse, but I have seen some videos where people are making actual money while using it in Virtual Reality. I've seen videos on TikTok that show people working in grocery stores and resturaunts and receiving legitimate paychecks, of course, these paychecks are extremely small, but I think it is kind of neat. Is this something I want to hop right into and play along with, probably not? However, in the future, when I'm bored with nothing else to do, I may just give it a try.
