She has no chance of winning IMO but since she has the 200m war chest from Joe Biden I think they all gonna back her.
Here's a preview:I can’t wait til they debate. It’s gonna be a helluva show.
That's a cute thing to say, but there is no candidate who is going to say that and mean it (actually, Trump will say it, but he says anything on a whim. His campaign promises mean nothing). The only polls that matter are the polls in the 'must win' swing states. California and Massachusetts are always going to go Democrat, and Alabama and Tennessee are always going to be Republican. So, a national poll only tells you the where the popular vote will go.
The head to head in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Ohio, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, and possibly one or two others are that all that matters.
My advice to Kamala, is don't be too straight laced. Trump does zingers, memorize the facts that will pass fact check and go for the knees as well. Show some fight.
But overall, I'm not voting for anyone who doesn't have black specific promises.
I definitely don't like Kamala, and most, if not all, politicians look out for themselves first. All we can do is elect someone who wants the same things for themselves that we want for our communities & families.I don't know a single person who likes her. You know, I been hearing a whole lot about protecting our democracy and to basically remove the people from having a choice is quite literally the opposite of that. I also don't think she'd do ANYTHING about the border issue which I am getting fed up with. She was meant to be in charge of that and look at what happened the last few years. I am so sick of snakes in politics. They are in it for themselves.
Yes but should we also lie and pretend that the two that do exist will change anything you listed? Kamala has never shown care for anyone other than herself her entire career. That's a cute thing to say, but there is no candidate who is going to say that and mean it (actually, Trump will say it, but he says anything on a whim. In the real world, we need to worry about fixing the economy, healthcare, American involvement in foreign wars, our rapidly-dying environment, clean air & water, affordable medicine, ending qualified immunity for bad police officers, school safety, education quality, social security, national security, etc.
When Americans are paying damn near $20 for a loaf of bread, we don't have the luxury of sitting back and waiting for a candidate who doesn't exist.
You're right, Kamala and Donald Trump are both self-serving. Therefore, if you don't like either major party candidate, use the write-in option; I certainly am.Yes but should we also lie and pretend that the two that do exist will change anything you listed? I forgot to add that the next POTUS may get to nominate 2 Supreme Court justices during his/her Presidency. Yes, I want "tangibles" and a "Black agenda", but there are other important things we need to worry about, too. That's a cute thing to say, but there is no candidate who is going to say that and mean it (actually, Trump will say it, but he says anything on a whim. Yeah I can’t see myself voting for either one of them. I’ll probably do a write in too. You're right, Kamala and Donald Trump are both self-serving. Therefore, if you don't like either major party candidate, use the write-in option; I certainly am.
I'm interested to see if Trump doubles down on full police immunity, and I want to know Kamala's plans to stop Black Americans from becoming the minority minority. Those Democrats are quite clever and shifty. If they can push this gender divide and the Republicans keep running on woke politics and the black grassroots sits this one out, this will be a very interesting race.

People want change, whether that comes in the form of an outsider like Trump, or a black figurine ...I have heard podcasts saying big money donors wanted Biden out but not Kamala to take over. Her approval numbers were always dismal. The only voices of support internally for support was from sisters, who were pissed she wasn't going to be considered the next up by what they heard.
But the reaction for her has been way better than I or most anticipated. I did a rough polling of my friends and pretty much all the sisters are ecstatic about her. The brothers were supportive but not as enthusiastic.
I have a few friends to went to Howard, also 3 family members and a couple other friends and family member or two have gone to other HBCUs and it seems their main motivation for wanting her as President is not policy but to have a Howard grad / HBCU grad in the White House. I disagree with that as a motivation and was told I was a Kamala hater...lol. Even though I said I'm about policy first. Don't care who. They all know I'm big on black issues, reparations, specific tangibles, etc. but somehow that translates to not supporting Black people....but I digress.
Not sure if its true, but a friend posted that the party raised 250 million dollars since and Cenk from TYT said 81 million came in the first 24 hours.
I think a few things will have to happen still. Her choice for VP is vital. Second is how she responds to Israel / Gaza. Also, her platform. Republicans are a bit scared though and are in a hissy fit to some extent. They wanted Biden because he was easy to beat.
What y'all think of her chances? Not if you want her to win or support her. This is a 'cut the check', 'what you gonna do for us specifically' site. But just in terms of her chances objectively?

The trouble is, most people get into politics for the money. And even when they don't, they end up being corrupted by it. Very few people can manage to remain FOR THE PEOPLE long term cause the green just gets so good. It sucks cause anyone can be bought out and no one is ever honest about it. My dad said we oughta have them wear who donates and backs them on their suits like nascar cars so we know what they are really about and they can't lie about anything as easily.I definitely don't like Kamala, and most, if not all, politicians look out for themselves first. All we can do is elect someone who wants the same things for themselves that we want for our communities & families.
There's a big sign on the Statue Of Liberty that readsNeither will do anything for us, but It’s so hard for me to not want to vote Blue out of fear, and I really don’t like that. With all due respect to those affected by Covid, (and I lost a few folks myself) most of the news was fearmongering propaganda. Maybe this is the same? .
But we saw Trump’s racism on full display. I am concerned about Trump successfully rushing the Capitol. His VP pick is so shifty,, he dangerous. Like he’s foaming at the mouth to roll out that 2025 project plan.
And I don’t want us to disappear as a people under another brutal neo-Jim Crow era. Can we survive that this time?
But Kamala will just open the border wider and flood us with more migrants. We can’t survive that either.
If I don’t vote and Trump wrecks havoc, how do I explain that I did nothing?
How do y’all see all this. Writing-in candidates sounds great, but how do you reconcile yourself to all the above? I’m not a vote Blue no matter what, and my question is sincere. No shade.
I look forward to your responses.
Fine. Vote to stop the Mexicans, and you can have the killer cops, worse schools, & higher healthcare costs as your consolation prize. The Statue of Liberty has never meant anything to me. It’s not my reality, but I hear you, I do.
Immigration is the supposed fabric of the country, but it’s becoming its downfall because of the bleeding hearts. They bend over backwards to accommodate everyone, and to accept anybody. No sense of cultural self-preservation or common sense.
Our taxpayer dollars are paying to move barely educated people into the middle class, paying for their food, clothes, computer devices, cellphones, and medical care, and putting them at the head of housing lists.
They’re not encouraged to learn English, and even get impatient when not addressed in Spanish. They’re shamelessly racists because they know anyone can kill us without impunity. They come from extremely class oriented cultures, and they’re going to outnumber even white Americans soon. They will be soon be in positions of authority but with a 3rd world power hungry mindset. They’re in the majority and know that the bleeding hearts will bend over backwards protect their right not to assimilate, so they don’t have to adapt, instead they can impose their world on us.
I work in an office run by first generation Mexican-Americans, and newly arrived upper class English-speaking South Americans (class and racial prejudices intact) I’ve been working here longer, but they run the yard already because of their numbers, and accommodations.
African and Middle Eastern and Eastern European refugees are allowed to work in government jobs , and make major decisions affecting the quality of Americans’ lives. Yet, they nothing about American cultures and communities, nor do they understand Americans. Some have only been here less than 2 years. And ,generally, they hate us.
They know they have power, so they harass Black employees annd even get them fired. I’ve seen this happen twice at my job. Another recent immigrant is allowed to harass Black workers because the managers and supervisors are either Latinos, or married to or date Latinos. Or simply Bleeding Hearts.
This is a right to work state, so you have to a lot of firepower to sue.
Unfortunately, that’s the future. Sounds extreme but it’s not. It’s the reality and it’s going to become more mainstream and widespread, simply because we’re indiscriminately allowing so many people in the country that they’re going to dominate. It’s a fact. There’s no time or inclination for assimilation.
Before the focus was on assimilation, as it should be, now the focus is on protecting their right to rule without assimilating.
So, yes, I also care greatly about our people, but this migrant and immigrant crisis is not a boogeyman.
You're concerns are valid, Brother. Excuse me if I made them seen unimportant. Thanks for your feedback.
I haven’t decided which way to vote, I was just pointing out that the migrants aren’t a boogeyman. Your points are good, but it just seems to me like we’re making choices between the devil and the deep blue sea. You don’t believe so, that’s cool. Good to see other perspectives.
Are there any viable third party options? I hat so you think of RFK, Jr?
Thanks for your feedback. Glad to see you’re trying to do right by us, too.
Wow, so she really was a pass around. I thought that was all cap. When I ask black folks they are all excited and I hear them saying her chances are 'good' to 'excellent' depending on if its a sista or brotha.
I don't see it personally. I think she'll do better than Biden would have.
It will be an electoral college loss and probably a popular vote winner as it has been for every Republican victory initially since Bush the elder won both in '88. Let that sink in.
I also see white women hating on her. Big time. Why? Back in '08, it was the firs time in history a non white straight male had a real roadmap to the presidency. White feminists said it was their time and had the party anoint Hillary. Obama effed that up and they were not happy. I recall a couple white women in politics saying one or two disrespectful things. And even though Kamala is obviously a woman white liberal feminists wanted a white woman as the first female president. Not a "black" air quotes woman.
Credit to Kamala though she learned the game the last 4 years and was making moves behind the scenes. They already pulling stuff out from back in the day on her too.

Judge Joe Brown said Kamala was community coochie back in the day.Wow, so she really was a pass around. I thought that was all cap.
Well, Trump just encouraged Florida Christians to vote just one more time. and “after that they won’t have to vote again because it’ll all be fixed.” Dictator vibes, anyone?
