I know this is a dream that probably will never happen, at least not in my lifetime, but do you think we'll ever get to a point in this world, or just in the US where racism is mostly forgotten? Not as in forgetting the history around it. But more in terms of less people being racist. We may one day get to a point where there are less and less racist people in the world, but I don't think we'll ever be rid of it sadly.

Not before armageddon. Racism is their most effective weapon -they have to work tirelessly at it but they have the assurance that it works as history chronicles it.
Even after reparations it will still exist and even more intense.
We can do more to rock its foundation by lessening our interactions with them. They feed off us and not the other way round.

you still haven't answered my question. you're making comparisons to other groups as if they were brought here by force and robbed of their wealth. what we have been through and going through is not even comparable. So imo, we should be the most bothered because we're affected the most economically and hold the least amount of power. --- that's why we want reparations, right???

As long as there are Homo sapiens on this planet there will be racism. Humans never let a difference go by that they do use as a line to divide one another. Africa is a great example of how groups of people with common ancestry and interest REFUSE to get a even under the threat of death or slavery.

The only thing that can happen IMO is people not falling victim to racism. Someone being racist is a non-factor if they are unable to victimize you.

Nope. I don't ever see racism going away. We may see less of it in the future, but I doubt by much. There will always be groups of people out there hating on us because of our skin color or because of stereotypes they heard from their parents and other racists, or hell the news and media in general.

I would love to see a point in our future where it's gone. But that's unrealistic, especially with how things are going today. Racism is more alive than ever it feels like. People just know how to hide it better, or hide it through their political beliefs.
