We have never been given a fair chance in entertainment. A bunch of blood sucking leeches that steal our work and take credit for it.

The ones with the resources aren't trying to create their own. The biggest opportunity was BET. The Johnsons sold out to Time Warner for the bag. Not that they weren't already massively wealthy.
Oprah isn't even majority owner of OWN anymore from what I understand. Tyler Perry sticking to his formula for making shows. The studio in Georgia is a fantastic thing but he hasn't scaled up to a truly independent movie studio like the others.
Revolt, 50 cent, etc, all would rather be under white daddy.
