I still think it is funny that they complain about video games doing this to kids and people when I think it is more so movies, TV shows, and music that encourage people to be stupid.
"Watch me attempt to make this pen disappear" haha wow. He really expected to get away with a pen. What'd he expect to do once he was out of the room?
Honestly, I don't think it's either. I think it's more to do with their upbringing and how their parents took care of them when growing up. Or a lack of parenting. I think kids and teens find ideas from movies, tv, and video games, but I think it's more to do with bad parenting causing kids to use media in that way. I think, idk.

One time my mother in law and I were talking about gun violence and all these shootings happening. She attempted to blame video games, and I said “Nah it’s not the games, movies have been around longer and could play a factor in violence.” She stopped talking after that. I do think it’s multiple things, a person’s upbringing, and their mental health.
