There has been a lot of news about trans athletes, usually male to female trans athletes, coming to play in female sports leagues. For example, there is a few trans mma fighters who have joined the ranks of female leagues, and it hasn't gone well. I don't think a man who transitioned into a woman, should be able to go in and fight a biological woman. Just because they are taking estrogen or whatever else is needed to change ones body, doesn't mean they don't have advantages yet.

Bone density and mass is a big problem, as men are known to have more of it. It's not offensive to say, but men are built different than women, and are often more physical, faster, stronger, etc. Yes taking estrogen and all these other hormones women need, will lower your testosterone and all that, and also decrease other parts of your body, but it doesn't 100% change you enough to a point where I would agree to a trans fighter taking on a biological woman. I don't think it's right, because someone is going to die eventually.

Make a trans league or something. I don't care if you want to change your sex, more power to you, but don't expect to then be able to join a women's sports league. This is why I'm all for them starting their own league if they want to. But women and men should not mix in any form when it comes to MMA. I don't much care if they join football, or basketball. Because they're not beating the shit out of each other.

Sorry for my long wall of text, but what is your thoughts on this?

Sports that rely on strength in any capacity should be separated. There are some sports where women can do better than men (biologically speaking) but in most of them, if you put a woman who was born male, it will set up a very unfair advantage. I think them having their own league would be ideal but there just aren't enough of them to do this. I am not sure how to remedy it.

I don't like males participating in female sports just like I don't like females participating in male sports. I don't care what you identify as, you do you, but you have to see there are logical points for being against this that have nothing to do with discrimination.

I don't think contact sports should be "mixed".
On the other hand Fallon got beat by a woman.

I don't think so either. At least not in MMA or any sport that relies on beating the shit out of one another. But, I think in a way, some trans fighters can be there, as long as they are the same weight and build as a female fighter. But even then, I do worry that there is still some advantage a trans athlete has over a biological woman.

I agree. A league of their own would be great, but like you said, there aren't a lot of trans people in the world. I think it's like 10% of the population is trans. Don't quote me on that, as I'm not 100% sure. But still, they could figure something out. Or even have a trans olympics or something.

Honestly, I think some women can play in major sports, but only in certain roles. I'm seeing more women jumping into college football for example, but they're joining as kickers. With kickers I would welcome a woman on board, because most of the time, kickers are untouched. I doubt we'll be seeing women on the defense or offensive line. But I can see them doing kicker/punting.

Stuff like Tennis, golf, pool, bowling, etc all seem like good sports for men and women to play against each other.

I don't know worldwide stats but they are less than 1% in the US. I think it is something like 1.5 million people and you have to figure a good chunk of them don't have any interest in playing sports.

Yeah, I get what you mean. Some women can play roles on male teams but the few examples I have seen of female kickers in football didn't end well. They just don't have as strong a leg. I mean if a woman is able to kick hard, far, and with accuracy, I have no issue with her being on a dude's football team.

I think an older dude beat a young woman in tennis with ease. A retired pro vs a current woman's pro. I can't remember who it was or when it happened. Tenis relies too much on strength I feel. Golf, pool, bowling, racing, etc. can be mixed though for sure.

I don't care if trans people want to be out there and live their lives. They shouldn't be discriminated against when it comes to jobs and options but when you are stepping into an area where women, REAL BIOLOGICAL WOMEN have fought for decades to have and to be taken seriously... I am going to have a problem with that. Stay out of our bathrooms. Stay off our sports teams, And get the f out of our private spaces.

I think we all line up with the same opinions in regards to this. I'm all for trans people living however they want, but I think there are some rules they need to follow when it comes to certain things. With sports for example, just make a sport of your own that supports trans people. Instead of cutting into a women's sport, especially since women haven't had it easy as it is. Now we got trans women wanting to join their sports, which just results in people who are too good for the sport in some cases.

This exactly. Women have been trying to get their cut of the pie forever now, and with trans women out there trying to go into female ran sports, it imo, does a disservice to those women who fought hard to get to that position in life.

There is clear proof that trans women oftentimes are better than some women, which means you may have an upperhand if you're a trans female, especially if you're just starting to transition.

I don't see it being fair to biological women. Make their own league or sports organization.

There have been tests done that show even if a child is started on puberty blockers at a young age (which is something I am not for, I think it is wrong), the boy/male will still have more muscle and bone mass regardless because it is genetic. So even if he becomes a she, she will still have an unfair advantage in sports against women. People are lying to themselves when they feel there is no unfair advantage.
