Lol, so you know how Twitch has banned many streamers and yet there are some they seem to never ban, well it looks like some twitch secrets were recently leaked and it shows streamers that are not to be banned if they break terms of service.

Twitch has been known to do this for a while now, but this kinda confirms it. Because if true, this means that the big streamers get special treatment, but if you're a small streamer and break the rules, you are pretty much shit out of luck, because Twitch only cares about making their money. If they don't see you making that cash flow, they will keep you banned.

Pretty messed up if you ask me. The fact that so many big time streamers can ban evade is quite annoying. Makes people who want to try twitch reconsider, because who knows if you'll be able to appeal if you do ever get banned.

What is your thought on this? Should Twitch be fair to everyone? Should they ban top streamers if they continually break the rules?

The women on this platform seem to have it the best. Like that one chick legit abused her cats on stream, flashed her crotch and tits, and said/did ignorant stuff and she is still allowed on there. WTF is that?

I feel like any social platform be it one like this with streaming or one that is more centered on communication through text, the bigger it gets the more problems you will have. They try to overaccommodate for the wrong people and end up discriminating and abusing other people on the platforms.

It's messed up. They ban the smaller creators forever when they make their first offense, but when you got millions of followers, they give you a little more leeway. It's not fair as they are giving people special treatment over others.

What I hate, is that others get banned for dumb reasons, and they keep them banned for a while. Did you guys hear about the person who was banned because he didn't control his chat enough. I guess some people in his chat were saying offensive things, and he was banned for allowing it. But here's the problem, have you ever watched how fast a twitch chat goes? It's hard to catch everything. So you pretty much need to get people to moderate for you because of it.

Twitch is full of hypocrites.

Exactly. I don't understand it. A lot of female streamers get away with it too, because they will get a temp ban for it and then are back to streaming in a week or something.

But someone like that Doctor Disrespect (not a fan myself), was banned and they never told him why. Yet you see all these repeat offenders, but they don't face any bans or suspensions.

And for sure. It's why YouTube has changed so drastically over the years. Back in the day it used to be fun to check out YouTube and even post on it, but now days creators aren't the focus. The focus is on late night talk show hosts, and random meme videos. It's no longer a place for the small people. Same thing can be said for Twitch, because if you're not famous or important, you're probably not going to get too far.

Yeah I see that a lot. And if you don't have someone over at twitch to help, you're pretty much screwed. So anyone new who's just starting out, doesn't have a whole lot of recourse if they are banned.

Twitch cares about their money and that's it.

There are clearly different rules set for different people. If you are an attractive light-skinned girl, you are likely able to get away with just about anything. I see it time and time again. Dudes get punished and banned for doing next to nothing wrong and these fly-by thots are still all over the platform.
