This is something my brother got into. He is younger and thinks that if Elon Musk buys Twitter, he will use DOGE on the platform in some way since it is a "meme coin" and considered to be an internet coin for younger generations.

He bought some. I mean I am hoping this happens cause it would be good for him but I have doubts.

Anyone else here think this coin will ever become something worth investing in?

Even without Elon Musk buying out Twitter, he's got a big influence in the world of cryptocurrencies with his power. He's used Twitter on more than one occasion to push and pull down a lot of cryptocurrency before. He had a huge impact on BTC last year.

Your doubts should have been cleared by now. Dogecoin is going places as Elon Musk acquisition of Twitter has affected the Dogecoin in a positive way. What I can't tell is how long it is going to stay, but that is definitely a good move in the right direction for all Dogecoin owners.

Elon Musk is not a fool, he is not going to risk $44 billion just to promote something that is considered a joke, even by the crypto community. I see a lot of people hoarding doge after the news about Musk taking over Twitter was out, but I believe they will not make much profit.

When you deal someone who is so unpredictable like Elon Musk, then you should be open for anything because he's capable of shocking the world at any point in time. Did anyone foresee him buying Twitter? I don't think so. He's used Twitter in the past even when he doesn't a share in the company to influence BTC, now he owns it, what do you expect?

This is something we should certainly look out for, Elon has a big influence on the crypto currency exchange market and I think this current development would also have an impact on doge coin in one way or the other.

I'm pretty much interested in Elon Musk making use of Twitter to influence Dogecoin to go on a hard bullish run because it's going to be a big advantage for me being that I heavily invested in the coin last year. My investment in Dogecoin should be around $5000.
