Two-faced, as in they will act as your friend, but will talk shit about you behind your back with their actual friends. I've had one friend who I thought was my friend, but he was pretty much a troll by todays definition. He was a funny dude, but I didn't realize I was the butt of the joke. They pretend to be your friend. I knew a lot of the people that I talked to in high school were two-faced. A lot of them probably just talked to me to save face. Oh look, the white dude is talking to the black dude and including him. Stuff like that.

But yeah, I realized the true friends pretty fast. You can tell when someone is two-faced most of the time. But there are some damn good actors out there who can pass as friends for a while. But then you see their true colors come out.

What stories do you guys have about dealing with two faced friends? Or people you thought were chill, but turned out to be two faced?

I hate people like that. My "best friends" in high school were two faced. They were sisters and we all were close for awhile, or so I thought. They ended up dumping me whenever they could and would talk about me to a bully who hated me. I think they were even going to set me up to get embarrassed in front of a guy I liked but I didn't fall for it.

Had my share of those friends too. The ones I thought were friends, were the ones who often stood me up when we'd hang out. Then to find them hanging out with other friends. Just be honest ya know, it's not hard to say you're hanging with another friend.

I'm sorry to hear you dealt with friends like that. People like that aren't true friends. They just use you and then come back with apologies when they end up needing you for something. All it is, is them using us when they feel like it, but when we need their help, they don't come to our aid. That's what's it like I feel.

I had a friend growing up who couldn't stand me to have any other friends so she would often get in the middle of my relationships and spoil them. She ruined like 4 or 5 friendships for me. I cut ties with her completely when I was like 17. I haven't seen her in a long while and I don't miss her or her games.
