This is something that I have seen countless times and is always an issue. Now I'm not the type to throw salt on anyone's "action" because if two people are feeling each other then that's none of my business or anyone else's. However, I've been in a few organizations to say the least but what always inevitably happens is that we eventually get some sistas in the group, and when they are especially attractive brothas wind up hitting on them and making them uncomfortable. That doesn't speak to every man in the organization but it happens very frequently. Do you think the hyper-sexualization of society have subconsciously influenced a section of our men to regard our women as vessels of sex even in groups that are focused on uplifting our community. This may not be limited to those environment, and I realize that women hit on men too but I don't feel it's the same. I feel like it's necessary to watch over women but a part of me think the problem is that some men treat a Black Revolutionary type as a fetish. What are the family's opinion on this?

Using Black Progress and Black Organizations to get some booty
It is true and it’s because these males are not satisfying their sexual desires and so they prey on the sisters in the org. That is something I don’t want happening here at all. We need to make sure our sisters feel safe and protected. We had some weirdo trying to get foot pics from the ladies here and he ended up banned.

You will always see these behaviors in any organization and it’s on the men to regulate it. If the leadership is not protecting the sisters then the simps, lonely guys, and predators will run havoc and run the women out.
First, of course no dude should be using that to get some. Tariq had a discussion on that a few years ago. He was using the term Hoteps and then every one even people that don't like him, especially feminist sistas, flipped it and started labeling him that.
Second, its a 2 way street. Sistas should be savvy enough to see that coming. He can't get the booty unless the sista is giving it. Everyone is grown.
Third, there could very well be 2 people who connect on a deeper level. I'm not gonna stand in their way but its not my site.

Finally, plane on approach to runway, if someone is getting repeated unwanted private messages from anyone there should be a consequence for that. I was on a site and a hater was in my private messages leaving crazy ish and the administrator didn't do a thing.

I have seen this happen at ANY organized event. Don't matter what it is for. There are people joining just to benefit themselves and get laid. I remember when they had one of those feminist rallies close to where I live. I happened to be out with friends getting lunch and shopping. We saw a lot of dudes there. My own friend straight up asked on of them if they are a feminist and he goes "if it makes a pretty woman more comfortable with me and willing to get in bed with me, I'll be whatever she wants me to be".
You have to be sure not to let these types interfere with our organizations and social gatherings. It is bound to happen naturally when men and women come together but the people who show up just to knock boots need to go home.

If I were at a B1 related event, rally, movie screening, whatever and I saw a sista who was B1, attractive, single, we vibed, boxes ticked, I might holla and would give zero Fs if someone didn't like it if I know in my heart my intentions were genuine and I saw her as possible wifey. I'd try to be discreet but some things are a bit obvious.
You can meet your soul mate anywhere. And I would hope that it would be a beautiful thing if 2 black people, both on code, both B1, were to date and get in a relationship that was leading somewhere. If I was tryna holla just to smash that is different. We may go out a few times and it turns out we aren't soul mates.
That said, I wouldn't be canvassing the event tryna holla. It would have to be something that just happened. I have personal rules about that kinda stuff for me. I typically won't mix 'business with pleasure'. If I were say...on the panel, I wouldn't try and holla after if I saw a cutie. If I were an influencer I would be very way of that kind of stuff.

I'll admit I was interested in a few women who I met at past meetings I went to, but I never made it awkward by asking them out or making weird comments. I feel like there is a time and place where it's okay to ask someone out, and that isn't it.
