We Are At The Juneteenth Street Fair In Los Angeles (Watts)

Had I been in LA, I'd have been there fah sho. The other thing about cultural events that are for us, by us, the homies on the street level respect it as well. When I was in LA, I've been to a few specifically black cultural events in Inglewood, Watts, other places and it was always peaceful.

    The only gang that was there in force was LAPD.

    I need to get to one of these events. This would have been nice to see. Especially in LA where our population is dwindling.

    No, I did not. I got some great food at the event though. The Black food vendors had all Black staffs too so it felt great knowing that the money being spent was going from Black hands into other Black hands.

    I bought the following:
    • A churro - $3
    • Cotton candy - $3
    • Cajun Fries - $7
    • Jerk Chicken plate - $21
    All provided by Black vendors, it was great.

    Sounds good. I don't think I've ever had a churro. I don't think I've ever had jerk chicken. Cajun fries and cotton candy are good.
