New York City has lost its damn mind. It is getting so expensive out there it’s ridiculous. I can’t lie though that looks like a cozy spot if you’re a loaner.

I wouldn’t live like that even if I could, but it’s all about survival at this point. 😩View: https://youtu.be/_T7Wpg7A_xw

Please make sure your ceilings are high!!!I would never feel comfortable walking down the hallway to take a shower. I always loved taking the stairs up to a bed though. If I ever get rich I’m going to have a large bedroom and have my bed elevated like that.
I wish people could make good money working near home. I can’t imagine what your commute is like.I got a friend that got a 200k job offer to work in NYC, Manhattan specifically, near Columbia Univ. He and his wife were apartment hunting and ended up renting in north New Jersey. After the taxes, and what he had left, and the rent. He said what he would end up would make it seem he was working for the city and tax people than himself.
He saw that $200k and signed himself up for an L. I had a similar opportunity but I would have to move to Silicon Valley. When I factored in the Cost of Living increase I would end up with the same amount of discretionary income but with increased responsibility and more traffic. I was like hellll no.I got a friend that got a 200k job offer to work in NYC, Manhattan specifically, near Columbia Univ. I didn't even see that dog at first. Wow!No way...
Shared bathroom with strangers... and most folks aren't the cleanest... especially during these times of rampant dis-ease...
and that poor dog stuck in that tiny spot...
I couldn't even live there for FREE! It's like paying for a prison cellShe probably got like 100k in the bank.
That is true. I wouldn’t have a dog in that tiny place. The video I shared of another tiny apartment, the renter has a cat. I wouldn’t do that either, but cats can manage better. It’s not worth paying any of these prices in NYC with the hike in rent prices and the flooding of illegal immigrants. I don’t even want to visit the city. I have family in Mount Vernon and Buffalo. I plan to visit Mount Vernon in the future, but I’ll stay away from the city. I couldn’t deal with the heavy traffic either. That looks like dog abuse to me. No way in hell is it okay to keep an animal trapped in such a tiny space.
People who want to live in NYC at this point who aren't wealthy are nuts. You can get yourself a tiny home and have more room!
It's definitely dog abuse. No dog deserves to be forced into such tiny space. It's only convicted deadly criminals that should be kept in such space for their crimes. That looks like dog abuse to me. No way in hell is it okay to keep an animal trapped in such a tiny space.

I think some people still believe it is some sort of status symbol to say you live in NYC and it really isn't. The city is not what it once was. It stinks, there is crime on every corner, and people that live there are typically rude, loud, and annoying. I have been to the city 4 or 5 times and each time I grew to hate it more. It's definitely dog abuse. No dog deserves to be forced into such tiny space. It's only convicted deadly criminals that should be kept in such space for their crimes.
I wouldn't pay such high amount for such a crap apartment for any reason whatsoever.
Of course. And their responses would be something like "This city has everything. I'm staying!"That looks like dog abuse to me. No way in hell is it okay to keep an animal trapped in such a tiny space.

These folks love the fast life that they will put up with such poor standards. It's definitely dog abuse. No dog deserves to be forced into such tiny space. It's only convicted deadly criminals that should be kept in such space for their crimes.

You can find everything you need these days online. Why live in a city!? Live in a safer, smaller area so you don't have to worry about crime, high taxes, overpaying, high rent, etc., etc.Of course. And their responses would be something like "This city has everything. I'm staying!"
