I want to get in the habit of cooking more at home. Taking better care of myself and eating healthier meals. Problem is, I am short on time half the time so I need to find ways to cut out cook and prep time for meals. I am looking to pick up a few things this weekend when I am out shopping. What are some good kitchen items that help save time when preparing home-cooked meals?
If you do lots of slicing, dicing, mixing, blending & chopping, you need a food processor.
Non-stick pots, pans & bake ware, also cuts preparation time down.
Marinating meats overnight inhances the flavor & tenderness.
Cutting up natural veggies for seasoning. Onions, garlic, bell peppers, rosemary thyme, bay leaves, jalapeños, cilantro, etc also saves time. Combine the seasonings you choose, inside a zip lock bag. Dry ingredients in one bag. Onions, garlic & bell peppers in another bag & refrigerated.
Anything else you'd like to know, just ask & I hope this helped.
