I wanted to drop this here. I am not entirely sure who he is. I have seen him before so forgive me if he is not someone you want to be hearing from. I do think he has a point. If you compare the algorithms of China's TikTok and America's TikTok it paints two very different pictures. I don't think it is a coincidence that the dumbest trends, dumbest takes, and dumbest people get the most views and money on the platform. I have never joined but have seen enough online from what others are sharing.

The line that got me was when he said you want the youth thinking you can get famous (and wealthy) with something that has no value in society. I have no issues with dancing, twerking, etc. but there is a time and a place for it.

Share your thoughts on what he said. Do you think he is right? Do you think it is less complicated than that?

YES. This is spot on. Isn't this guy with the Valuetainment guys or some show like that... He's right. But also it may be China trolling America on the fact that America ALREADY rewards being dumb (playing dumb), and general stupidity. Or even American stupidity started the algorithm trend and its stuck that way. The only way Trump and the Right (as well as their liberal dogs that voted Biden) maintain their narrative, is by means of selective ignorance or eagerly playing dumb to certain facts. But it's 100% correct that China is using much more sophisticated warfare than America. It's shameful REALLY. America looks so dumb and pathetic flying around remote-control planes and bombing the most helpless people as their means of war. One of the gravest errors in warfare is refusal to see reality for what it is...

I see clips that get shared around about people making up genders, thinking they are animals, talking down about their own race. It is one hell of a mess. I am not very familiar with China but given the fact that they hate America, this would not surprise me.

Yes and we all knows how their intension for long time and they always have issues with us and other major nation and people thought some data might be not important but they have more sensitive information than what we thinks.

Exactly. People who think nothing of this mess need to educate themselves. It is a growing problem. People just want to live in their own bubbles and think nothing bad can ever happen to them. When we are not taking responsibilities of what goes on in our society, it's definitely going to turn back and bite us big-time in the back where is hurts.

I wasn't surprised that they have been doing that with banning of the TikTok application and I see more countries doing the same thing as well. As for me, the application never really appealed to me to begin with. It's just too noisy for my liking.

Human nature drives us to want to be loved and accepted and apps like this and social platforms drive people, especially younger people, to do just about anything to stand out and fit in at the same time. They want to be loved and admired for doing nothing. How the heck is this healthy?
