I've noticed that a lot of the newer generations don't know how to do much, from simple tasks like changing a tire jumping a car fixing things around the house. What is it that you could teach a youngster that would come in handy throughout his life?
I can do a lot of basic things from changing a pipe (sink tub ect) to patching holes in sheetrock. I dabble in woodworking and can operate a ton of equipment (table saw routers miter saws ect) I can tune up a car (older ones) build computers, proficient with a lot of software (photoshop,3D max ,Radiant ect)
all of what I know I've taught my son and there's a ton of stuff I haven't mentioned but I'm just wondering why a lot of these kids nowadays seem to know hardly anything outside of tic tok IG and Facebook.

What can you pass to the younger generation?

I'll start with an insurance policy, its a hard conversation and I've had to have it with my father already. I know how to use properly use a multitude of weapons and repair them. With previous experience in the military I understand the basics of PenTesting and Social Engineering. My most constructive career move was working as a Masonry Technician, being able to brag about what you built and when you did it easily gives a man the edge in a measuring contest. A solid 30% of us understand the need for skills, but our political class seems to be hung up on the idea of keeping black males from going outside to make money.
