When a woman admits something like that to you it means she's been thinking about it awhile and her mind is made up. There is nothing he can do to get her to like him physically. What I had to learn is to judge women by their actions and not their words. If he is judging her based on her actions he will see clearly that she isn't interested in him. But the issue is that he listening to her words which is making him think there is hope. The moment I changed my perspective and went off actions it made dealing with women so much easier. If she says she wants to hang out but is always busy the action of her making no time for you is what you need to focus on. She doesn't make time for you, accept that as her stance, and move on.

Some people have big problems with letting go what they have built but just like you pointed out, it's just 8 months. Not that it's not something but you shouldn't stay in such relationships and ruin more years of your life because you want to save the 8 months invested in the relationship.
I was in a relationship that started going south at 6 months. I stayed thinking things would improve. Gave it 3 years. I can't get those 3 years back so I am very upfront and honest. If things aren't going well, I give it 3 to 6 months and bounce.
That's an excellent decision from the way I see it. The time frame of 3 to 6 months would be enough to know if it's something that's going to work or not, at the end of it, you will definitely be sure which path to follow in the relationship.

You are right. I would guess most women in these positions don't listen or at least don't want to hear it for a while. I think she only saw sense because it had been happening for over a year.
