Can be old school or something more recent. I always loved Martin, my dad used to always have it on and we would laugh about it together. Now every time I happen to catch it on, I can't help but to stop and laugh.

OMG did you see that Mike Epps one? It is sooooo low rent I couldn't get through one episode! These new sitcoms, are GARBAGE - I’m talking any sitcom made in the past 5-7 years. Trashhhhhh - especially the Netflix branded ones.
That is horrible!! Mike Epps 50 year old step and fetch routine is washed; he definitely can’t carry an entire series on his own. Never been funny to me. I need for Godfrey to get his own show or comedy special on Netflix. That’s who I would watch present dayMartin was my absolute favorite. This scene has a special place in my heart:
At 2:37 Tommy Davidson goes off script and Martin is trying not to laugh. Martin said that Tommy wouldn't be able to be funny because he was too used to doing standup so Tommy wanted to teach him a lesson.
At 3:40 Martin is trying his hardest to keep it together when Tommy says "the catfish are delicious".
This is just the pinnacle of Black comedy for me.

None of the movies you stated with Mike Epps was or is funny - Jamie Foxx isn’t funny either -your comedic bar is lowMy favorite is most definitely the Jamie Foxx show. The dynamic between Jamie, Braxton, and Fancy made for some very great comedy.
That's blasephemy. Did Mike Epps fall off? Most definitely. But Inappropriate Behavior was great and he was a killer sideman in Friday, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins and other movies But yes, his new show sucks and his last standup was abysmal.
Yeah this was funny 😄 🤣I love that scene! Mark Curry made Jamie Foxx break character, too. Check it:
I gotta 2nd you on Jamie Foxx show it was my joint. I kinda fell off it when he started working at Jingles 2000 and was living with Fancy, the dynamic changed. My favorite is most definitely the Jamie Foxx show. The dynamic between Jamie, Braxton, and Fancy made for some very great comedy.

Ruthless. Mike and Jamie are both funny in their own ways.None of the movies you stated with Mike Epps was or is funny - Jamie Foxx isn’t funny either -your comedic bar is low
I can't believe you're the first to mention this. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is my favorite overall. I haven't liked one as much as that. I heard something about them doing a reboot or something of it. Don't know how it will hold up.
Why do I feel so judged?None of the movies you stated with Mike Epps was or is funny - Jamie Foxx isn’t funny either -your comedic bar is low
It's ok, the pain will go away soon.Just stating how I feel. No offense
Hell yeah, the best show ever.Martin all day. I was watching it on TV last night and I just pulled the DVD out today. About to watch every episode starting at season 1! Woop woop!
🤣This is classic and what's even more classic is I think that's gonna be my hair in 20 years.
35 is hitting hard.
That's young still tho.35 is hitting hard.
Most def but I’m definitely not 20 anymore. That's young still tho.
Nah, not by a long shot, but then again, look at the age you are as a blessing. Not many you know has made it out there 20s with you. Most def but I’m definitely not 20 anymore.
It’s all relative, to a 50 year old I’m young to a 12 year old I’m old as heck. But to an 80 year old, all of the above are young. At the end of the day though, for me, I notice that things like not getting adequate rest, not eating right, drinking too much all hit way different at this age. Add that with my hair thinning, it’s a new day for me. It’s clear as day that I’m not gonna transition soon but I’m sure as heck ain’t gon be here forever. Gotta make it count and gotta leave something.Nah, not by a long shot, but then again, look at the age you are as a blessing. Not many you know has made it out there 20s with you.
I had to see Sledgehammer
I missed most of the shows from the mid to the late 90s. I was providing a blanket for all Americans to sleep underDude I bet that was the coolest intro back in the 80s. The Jamie Foxx show is classic, even the intro is bumping.
True true. But keep this and that's ya ain’t getting old, you're just getting more and more seasoned lol Big ups fam! It’s all relative, to a 50 year old I’m young to a 12 year old I’m old as heck. First couple seasons of Good Times was amazing.I have alot of sitcones, but my favorite ones are from the 70's: Good Times, Sanford & Son, Jeffersons, just to name a few.
First couple seasons of Good Times was amazing.
For real! I didn't like it at all after that...he helped keep the show on track.Yes they were. When James Sr. was off the show, it got stale.
Yes he did. He kept his family together. He was a model black father. For real! I didn't like it at all after that...he helped keep the show on track.
Bruh you gonna come back and just disgrace Marty Mar like that? The Jeffersons was/is my favorite sitcom. Anytime you have a Black with money talking to white folks like dogs, that show is the greatest of all time.
Martin was cool at first but it evolved into a reason for him to put a dress on, after a while.
Martin could've been solidified as a Legend if he used his platform to push for the development of Detroit.
Martin was a transvestite cross dressing coonBruh you gonna come back and just disgrace Marty Mar like that?
You right though.
Martin catered to the folks who smoked weed or sipped cough syrup in styrofoam cups.
