This is a major pet peeve for me. I don't consider white people with that knock off hair style as legit Dreads, The appropriation of almost everything they see is bad enough but, for decades I've always been a hater of white people sporting Black hair styles. what are your thought's on it?
does it bother you? doesn't matter to you? or are you indifferent about it?

I'm not really bothered but I do see it as ignorance. I've seen Madonna wearing a crucifix and I see it the same way: ignorance.

Numbers Chapter 6 verse 5 tells a person, who have made a vow to God, that they must not cut there locks along with a few other things.

People will be ignorant...

I don’t like it at all and I try my best to not even talk to a White people with dreads. I won’t be rude or anything but if I see them coming my way I start moving the other direction. Partly because they are not doing it to be down with me, they are doing it to show that they are different than other White people. I may be wrong in 1 out of 10 cases but that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.

Get the Stephen Colbert cut with the part down the side. Leave our hair styles alone.

I don't care if they wear them or not but I have never come across a white person with dreads who didn't smell of cat urine, pot, and incense. They straight stink. I am sorry. Do what you want with your hair but let's not bring the stink of your lifestyle into public spaces.

He probably smells awful. He is a good-looking man but those dreads really knock him down several pegs for me. I don't know what he was thinking. Does he have them right now? Someone needs to tell him to cut those out. lol

It doesn't bother me more than I'm curious about why? When most times they "need" us to look as close to European as possible. ...straightened hair, non ethnic clothing, adapting to their customs etc....Just curious that's all.

Facts. I never saw a clean looking white person with dreads.
