The Cookout

I have been waiting for the weather to warm up. Finally got my garden going outside. Going to keep adding to it as things grow. I am hoping to keep things going into the fall. I am looking forward to being able to go to cookouts again and enjoy the park and events in my area. Since covid is not a huge deal anymore, I think this will be the first "normal" summer we have had since 2019. I know inflation is a problem, the "war" (aka money laundering scam), and other issues are still happening but I think we can at least find time to enjoy the summer this year.

I always say that I'm ready for summer to come around because I can only handle so much cold weather. However, once summer finally arrives and it starts getting hot, I'm ready for fall. Needless to say, I'm ready for summer as of right now, but fall is definitely my favorite season of them all.

I feel you. Sometimes it is too hot and humid and I am just done with it. I like the cooler summer days in the low to mid-70s with the sun out and a cool breeze. Perfect weather.
