I use tiktok on occasion to watch funny/interesting content. I have curated content I enjoy to watch. So for the most part I am good with the content I see. But on occassion I will see big corporations posting content on tiktok, like they're one of the bunch. Usually it's comedy related or they have popular tiktokers/stars promote some bs. I've seen stuff for McDonalds, Burgerking, and a few other fast food joints. As well, I know there was a few for beverages, some promo for a bunch of cheap knock-off toys you can probably get from Wish or something and so on.

Tiktok is bad for the corporation shilling. You can tell right away when it's going to be an ad, it just always sounds like some ad read written by a corporate guy.

What are some of the weirdest ads you've seen on there? Or attempts by big companies to appeal to the younger people on tiktok?

I hit an interested when I feel it's an ad trying to sell me something...
I recently joint TT by request from a few of my entrepreneur friends, asking me to join to step up their following. I find that you can make a little bit of coin on tiktok by promoting those franchise establishments you might find yourself frequenting. Like I sometimes grab a .99¢ coffee from McDonald's, through the app you can get the large iced coffee (2.99) for .99 cents or hot premium roast... Whatever, but if I promoted this 🐂💩on TT I might invest $5 for one day, I stand likely chance of becoming a ambassador or spokesperson for that brand. Also instead of just liking people can send gifts they look like stickers but it's money, from anyone for basically doing nothing... It's more logical to me than playing the lottery right now. I tell my kids get a hobby that pays 😆💗 ... Food for thought.
