Maybe it's just me. But my wife has this thing that she seems to be right about a lot of stuff in hind sight!
She makes decisions that are contrary to mine and usually a few months or maybe even years later I looks back and think "Damn, she was right!"

Lots of things from career decisions, diet choices, to just everyday things like who I follow on YouTube. She saw through the facade that is Roland Martin far before I did. Once I finally did catch on that he was a sellout she was like, "See what did I tell ya."

This seasoning I was using seems to not be the best choice as far as keeping control of my blood pressure. I took away everything else and it seems to be the last culprit. She had told me to not use it months ago and I didn't listen! Stubborn I guess!

She just seems to know little things far in advance!

And she of course always hits me with "I told you so!"

I am just starting to think, I married her for a reason. Maybe I should listen to her opinions more than I do.

Sounds like she either gonna get a side nigga or a divorce. She’s leading y’all relationship and she either at this moment or sometime in the future will lose all faith in your judgment.

Na, We been together 17 years already. I generally listen to her. Just sometimes too late.

I sometimes look back and am like she was right about that. I should have taken her advice!

Thing about her is she is the type that if she knows she is right she won't push the issue. She'll just let me be wrong and then when things go as she expected then she is just like "See I told ya." She doesn't really argue about it. She will just watch the train crash.

Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing though.

Do you think you have bad judgment? Do you ever get it right?

When a Mexican lady can spot sellouts better than you it may be time to check your spidey sense. I had a white friend tell me about Obama and I was in denial.

As far as your wifey goes she should always be watching your back so there’s no issue there. Just make sure she sees the value in you.

Yeah I'm usually right about a lot. I have my strengths and like anyone else I have weaknesses.

I am better with managing money.

An example of something she told me to do was stop using Cajun seasoning. I stopped for quite a while and started back using it in small amounts.

She warned me that even with small amounts I'm too sensitive to salt.

I didn't listen. You'd think I would get that right since I'm a nurse but nopes. Wife was right. As soon as I started using even a little my blood pressure started acting crazy again. I stopped.

Once we went to the dealership to get a car. I picked out a car. She said she had a bad feeling about it. I didn't listen. We had bad luck with that car the whole time we had it.

She would always tell me that Roland seemed too fake and that he was just pandering and didn't seem to really care about average black people.

    She was right!

You can't see every angle. A good ass woman see shit you don't see. When I was in corporate America heavy, the wives of the VP were often smarter their husbands. At company functions they would girl talk with the wife of the decision maker in their husband's department. They hoping wifey say to dude, RCNAL's wife is so nice. Psychologically applying that to the husband as well. Trying to get an invite to the boss's next cook out or function at their house.

My tv wife, Tasha in Power see angles that Ghost ain't seen, same with Claire Underwood in House of Cards.

You took the words out of my mouth. If your wife isn‘t watching your back then why are you with her. I feel like a strong woman is able to lead but she leads in a feminine way. They are also experts at thinking you kade the decision as a man but in some cases you’re following her lead. Now they defer to us in the end if we’re competent but a good woman moves and shakes just as much as we do.

Women tend to be able to judge situations and people better. We will know long before the drama hits that there will be drama. They always say behind every strong man is a strong woman and I think that is true. Women are meant to balance out a man's weaknesses and vice versa. Relationships that do this where the differences are respected and appreciated, they thrive. Just look at all the nonsense they are peddling off right now about men and women are the same and men and be women and women can be men... They know what works in people's favor and they want to destroy it. People are easier to control when they don't have a strong family unit or at the very least a strong marriage.

I've always felt my wife was just as smart as me. Possibly smarter.
She's just not as ambitious because she knows I'm going to take care of the household.

I guess I just need to start valuing her opinion and input more.
When it comes to taking care of the home, from my experience, they are very good at that. Even in economics and financial management, they do so well and much better than men. I think most of us are too extravagant with how we spend money.

Don't feel shamed by that, it's the same way with my wife and me but vice versa, I just look at things a little different than she does, and it sounds like your wife looks at things the same way, she sounds like a critical thinker, she thinks like shes playing chess.
I always play scenarios out in my head about any decision I make.

It's my husband that's says, "The only time I've ever been wrong, is when I thought I was wrong".
In other words, he's NEVER wrong, even if he is. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Had to comment love this post. My wife and I make a game out of who is right more often than not. Im pretty sure she is winning. Like other users have stated you need a woman in your corner who is on code and can see several chess moves with you. I always tell her men and women are like batteries. You have a positive charge and a negative charge. Alone these charges do nothing but together their power is immensely magnified. Shout out to all the B1 couples making it through. I've been with my wife and life partner for 10 years now. Wouldn't trade a moment of it for the world.

What many men won't tell you is how their wives contribute to how big decisions are made in the family. Responsible women have an eye for discovering things before their husbands do. So, as long as she is not making you look stupid, I don't think anything is wrong with her contributions in your life.

Let me tell you, my wife has often been right when it came to some shady people in our life. I don't know what it is, but it seems like most women are right almost 100% of the time. Do they have a extra sense we don't have? I don't have a clue, but I always listen to my wife.
I think that it's because most of us are too quick to do some things but they will take more time to evaluate before doing anything. This gives them more insight to what we would have failed to see and that makes them better than us in that regard.
