A professor at Winston-Salem State University had one of her students arrested for the simple fact she wouldn’t apologize to her. Not only did she pull her race card, but when the other students came at her she played victim.

More reason why we need out own. Unfortunately Brown vs Board set us back so it would be hard to establish something that could only benefit us because we would have to agree on whatever that basis would be. Unfortunately, that is never going to happen. What we have to do instead is establish workshops and training that not only deal with educational skills but also skills on how to combat white supremacy. That can only happen once rid ourselves of the cultural naivete' regarding non blacks. This is so common place I wonder if they just show us these episodes just to show us "our place" in society.

There was another post on this. My question is why can't the HBCUs find Black teachers? Its complete BS that they can't. And the, they don't want the low salary is BS. Someone non Black thought it was enough to take the job. There is a black person out there who would take it. They just don't have the will to do it. Find a non Jewish professor at Yeshiva and see how many non Mormons are at BYU administration. There are non Black department heads at some of these HBCUs. SMH.

Too many boule`, or civil rights era negroes in charge at some of these schools. My guess is they aren't tryna pass it down to the younger, more pro Black generation of educators. They scared of the Umar Johnson types.
