Don't get me wrong, I love the movies he's been doing as of late, some of the best horror movies in recent years. But, I love his comedy as well. Him in Key and Peele for example, one of my favorite shows. Sucks they decided to call it quits after like 4 seasons I think.

Anyway, I'd be down to see Jordan Peele make more comedy movies and shows again. Or just anything. I'd like to see what else he can do besides just horror and comedy. Maybe action, drama, etc. He's a great director, and I can see him doing so much more.

Well, yeah. He was a funny dude. I am sure if he feels he can get back into that kind of role, we will see him doing it again. I think he wants to be taken more seriously these days and instead of focusing on what a lot of other black men do (comedy), he wants to do horror films and drama. I think it is important more black people in the business branch out and don't just stick with comedy.

Same here. I don’t even know any Black people that liked his comedy. He didn’t really get respect in Black American circles until Get Out.

Right.
I wasnt gonna lean in all the way but youre right. He was definitely funny but his genius does not come through on that side. Black comedian community really didnt fuk with him and keegan. Some spaces he wasnt even allowed in. So this horror. Drama version of peele helps him stand out.

Oh I have no issue with him doing horror. I would love him to do whatever he wants. But I would like to see him revisit comedy again some day. It doesn't have to be now, but I'd hate to see him leave it as well.

Not at all. I love his work, but I do miss his comedic side as well. I know he won't be acting again, but I bet he has some great comedy movies in his head waiting to spring out. I'm fine with more horror and thrillers or even other genres of film by him, but would be happy to see him revisit comedy in some way in the future. He doesn't have to go back or anything like that. If he is set on horror and staying away from comedy, more power to him. I just hope to see him go back once in a while.
