This topic was inspired by the recent topic about William Shatner going to space. I remember hearing about the possibility of humans colonizing Mars, and that we could be doing it sometime in the 2020s I think it was. Would you join the cause and colonize Mars with a group of other humans?

Honestly, I don't know what I would do. I would probably want to stay on earth. But, I think it'd be cool to make history as one of the first colonizers of Mars. But, the con of going to Mars, is, Mars lol. I can't imagine living on Mars would be fun. But, it would be interesting for sure. I'd want to go investigating the planet to see if we can find any sign of previous life.

What about you though. Would you help to colonize Mars?

I think it's a cool concept to think about, but no, I wouldn't. At least not at first. They would need to work out whatever issues arise before I go to another planet lol They can't even work out issues here on earth

Space scares me. Knowing me, I'd get cut off from the spaceship and would end up flying around space until I die. But seriously, I think if I were to ever go, it would be if I have no more family, I'm sick or something, and near death. Then maybe I'd go to Mars. Who knows, it could be a fun experience to go to Mars before you pass.

But at the moment, nah. I think I'm good on earth for the time being. Ask me again when they full on colonize Mars and we can all travel back and forth. That'd be cool.

Oh for sure. I think if they colonize it to the point where it feels like just another city, then I would maybe consider it. But it would have to be safe. If they can make Mars living sustainable and it isn't a pain to live on Mars, I'd maybe do it.

Yeah it kinda scares me too. I could only imagine how scary it'd be to be spiralling around the darkness of space all by yourself. Like what the hell do you do at that point?

They probably wouldn't let you go to Mars in that condition though. I doubt you'd survive the trip.

I would bring my gaming consoles if possible. Gotta find something to do if there's not much else to do. :D

I wouldn't want to go to Mars but if I had no choice, I would likely do the same. I mean I can't imagine they's have internet up and running right away. Have to have offline entertainment. I would bring a lot of art supplies as well.
