Wow that performance was pretty bad if you ask me, plus there was a lot of playing dumb about white supremacy. I also can't stand that 'we're all the same' trick the Dominant Society keeps playing on us.
Whatt ! Lol ... I thought it was on point :) ... No, they never play that role. It was about teaching the audience (wipypo) ...

What do you mean about 'we are all the same trick?

That's cool, it just sounded off-key to me. I don't think you can make a song that's going to knock the Whites off white supremacy, it's what they rely on for their status, it's everything to them. Sorry but I don't believe that there is a single white person (or Non-Black person) that doesn't practice some form of white supremacy. I believe that the 'We are all the same trick' is something that's constantly used by the Dominant Society to soften us up about white supremacy and make us think that we're all one big human race and that there is no such thing as race.

They are getting older, so no jumping around on stage this time :) NP .. For me, it's the lyrics ... Hip hop used to be a teaching event (like this, teach the Caucasian audience) ... The rap coming out of the states nowadays is .. severely lacking, such a shame. Ppl recognize this difference, with all the genres of rap (one can never mistake this hip hop for a drill rap, etc) ...

I really wish they there could be a blerd rap genre, but this is what the dominant society pushes (part of Kanye's point) ...

Dave is one of few black men that still gets us, respects us, and wants good for us even after the money and fame. We can't let people destroy him. We need to keep him protected cause they already tried to drug his ass when he left for Africa before.

That aside, the show (Dave's parts) and the performance reminded me of the Dave Chappelle Show. I miss it still.
