It's Different When A Black Father Is Involved.

With the exception of coons (Botham Jean case), the cops and the DA, and everyone are way more careful when there is a black father.

Sad truth is cops, teachers, and other jobs where white supremacists come in contact with our kids, they know that there is hardly a father in the home. I recall the matter of the school resource officer slamming that black girl on the floor with her desk. I saw a school board meeting after that and this brotha, swole too, was pissed off, and rightfully so. He told them, if he ever hears something like that happening to his child he is coming back and dealing with them personally. They knew exactly what he meant. Their faces were shook and should be shook.

Any father, black, white or whatever may snap over something happening to their son or daughter. Cops, teachers know this and act accordingly if they know that child has a father in his home. Ain't gonna be any 'forgive, forgive, forgive'. If they are lucky the courts deal with you. But usually someone is turning up. When that young brotha got hemmed up by the white men in a cul de sac in the south a couple years ago, black men turnt up, with sistas too but it was the sight of seeing all those black men that got them shook and made the community force dude out the paint.

You hear Cyn G and others talking this BS about 'black men don't protect us'. Complete BS. I had that discussion with a sista once talking that BS. I asked her 'Have you ever, ever in your life felt unsafe being with any ex black boyfriend?' crickets. You and I know there are literally 1000s of black males in jail, dead or in the hospital because some sista told her brother, cousin or homie that another dude hit her or called her out her name. But black men don't protect? It's a cliche in the hood someone getting beat down or whatever because of that. Remember that scene in Menace in Society where dude cussed out the girl who he got pregnant?

B-Boys = Bronxdale Boys - I Keep Dispelling The Lies

Stop falling for this 50 year bs. The actual form of what we know as Hip Hop started in the Bronxdale section of Bronx, NY in 1971 with THE BLACK SPADES. The true creative force of the music was started long before that but what we know as Hip Hop today was birthed in 1971. It's first DJs were people like Disco King Mario, DJ Grandmaster Flowers and a young DJ Phase to name a few. The sound was directly influenced by the likes of the James Brown's and Pig Meat Markham's of the times. Herc and Bambatta were students of the game, not teachers! Stop listening to Fat Joe and Busta Rhymes lying about the origins of our music!

The Reality Of EVs Is That Charging Sucks

The issue with charging infrastructure in my opinion shows how America’s priori rotors are so skewed. The country is sending billions to Ukraine to fight a proxy war with Russia when they could be using that as subsidy to get gas stations to add an electric charge station on their lots.

The feds are pushing electric but people are still running around with range anxiety. It’s sad just how far back the nation is in infrastructure.

You Ever Work In An All Black Or Almost All Black Company Or Department?

How was it?

I've heard varying stories. Sometimes, great. Sometimes, its the hood. I worked in a huge multi billion dollar company where a few of our departments were black run with black managers (me being one of them) and a fair amount of black employees. It was a fantastic experience. Surprisingly, no 'black crab in a barrel' syndrome. We looked out and promoted each other. Other blacks in other areas looked out and we reciprocated. One of us eventually made it to SVP, big money, etc and we helped him the whole time. We handled things internally like Gs.

My other experience was working part time at an almost all black clothing department while doing an internship in DC, in my senior year. The brother who ran it, was out for himself, threw people under the bus. Some of the people were cool, but some weren't. I was never late, never gave problems, never called in sick. I was in my cousins wedding and needed to take off a Saturday and he said "That's our busy days' The homies in the department said 'F*ck it bruh, call in sick'. I don't do the fake sick thing but when I was leaving, I had a talk with him. He said 'You were a good worker man, hate losing you'. I told him with all due respect, I wouldn't work for him again. I told him you take care of the good people. Others were late, calling in sick, and I asked for one day for a family wedding and you couldn't even do me that one solid. I could have called in sick. He was like dang, you right, my bad.

I learned what not to do when I eventually got into management and that is take care of your ridaz. The squeaky wheels gonna always want oil and hookups but you don't want to lose the good ones by treating them bad.

I also had another job where the boss left and we had to run ourselves till we got a new person. It wasn't a big area, 6 of us, 4 blacks, 1 white, 1 Latino but we all worked well. We covered all our bases and looked out, no one leeching. We didn't need a manager and one of the OGs we selected to go to meetings about the departments. Another good experience.

But my friends have had some crazy stories. I think it depends on the type of job. A sista who worked at a black law firm had a great experience. Also a good friend who worked in the prosecutor's office in Long Beach, CA. Mostly black and latino said it was good. But homies kids who worked at Walmart said it was like the street.
