Respecting Privacy

When it comes to respecting someone else's privacy, and they respecting yours - What do you think crosses the line?

We live in the day and age of social media, dating apps, texting, and so on. It is very easy to get caught up in things you never intended or give your partner the wrong idea when you just want some privacy. The way you go about this though can cause a whole mess of issues in a relationship if you are not open about things.

The (wife of) clearance Avant murder

This guy Mr. Avant was a very connected dude, someone you've probably never heard of but, has his hand in more than you know.
Looking at how his house was randomly picked for a "home invasion" by a dope head makes no sense at all. After watching this documentary you might look at this murder a little different, pay attention to who he knew, who he knows and who he's been around.
It's a really good documentary, if you can find it take the time to watch it.

Have you dated someone way out of your league?

As in you don't know how you landed this one. Each girlfriend I had I like to think were beautiful, I still do for the majority of them, but I wouldn't say they were out of my league. I asked this one girl out, who happened to be a cheerleader, but she flat out said no and walked away. lol. She was, imo a 10/10.

What about you though? Ever dated someone who was out of your league? Either it being she/he was better looking than you, or you were better looking than them.

I'm probably uglier than the girls I dated though.spliffstarlaugh

What does the US government need to do to make things right?

The US government has been a burden on us forever now. But, what if the US government made it right somehow, someway. What would they need to do to make things right? There's a lot the US government has done to us, some unforgivable. They have tried to help in some ways, but it's never been enough and has felt like a little too late.

But, for you, what do you need the US government to do to make things right?

For me, I don't know really. I suppose reparations, but I don't know how that would work. Affordable housing for everyone is a must imo. So many people are put on the streets because they can't pay rent. No one should be pushed out of their home because they can't pay. Also, I would love to see the US government owning up to their past hate and behaviour, and apologize to the world for the horrible things they've done. Have they ever tried to make amends for the past? There's def a lot more they need to do. What do they need to do for you though?

Healthcare should be a human right: Free

I can't stand that healthcare is still quite expensive if you're making a good living. Healthcare in the US should be universal and a human right at this point and free for everyone, rich or poor. The fact that the elderly pay a lot for healthcare is crazy to me. Medication should be free to every US citizen, especially the elderly.

As long as we work and put money into the US economy, pay our taxes and all the shit we gotta do already, than we should get free healthcare. What do you think?

Dental care should be included as well.

Should all schools install metal detectors and lock doors?

With the recent school shooting in Detroit, it made me further realize that we need to figure out a solution to this. It's clear they aren't stopping anytime soon, so maybe it's time we get funding to get metal detectors installed in schools. One of the schools that my niece goes to, has them, and they also have a PA system where the doors stay closed, and if you need to enter, you need to speak through the intercom etc.

I think this would solve a lot of the shootings, because one, it should stop most from getting in, and two, others that want to get in, won't be able to enter without force, and as long as there are cameras around, it should stop some.

What do you think though? I doubt they will hire security guards to stand in schools, but maybe that's another option for some.

Beyonce's Music is Garbage and She is Not on the Level of the Greats

I'm just going to put it out there, Beyonce's music sucks when viewed as part of Black American music.

Halo has 1B+ views and it's mindless pop music. The lyrics are basic cookie cutter, the video looks like B-Roll from Think Like a Man, and the beat sounds like one of those royalty-free tracks out of iMovie. No one is going to be listening to this bullshit 20 years from now.

500M+ views the lyrics are basic, the flow does nothing for the beat, and the hook is basic and repetitive.

That's in the club rocking the latest
Who will buy it for themselves and get more money later
I think I need a barber (barber)
None of these niggas can fade me (fade me)
I'm so good with this, I remind you, I'm so hood with this
Boy, I'm just playing
Come here, baby
Hope you still like me, F you, pay me

Compare the flow to something like Smokin Out the Window. They ride the beat flawlessly, Beyonce flow is so weak on this.

Even her conscious songs are disposable. Nothing about this song is iconic or stand out and the red lobster lines are so corny.

To conclude, Beyonce is not on the level of a Mike Jack, Stevie Wonder, Aretha, and etc. She makes disposable pop music that is popular in its time but will not be remembered for decades like let's say a Billie Jean.

What does your family do for Christmas?

I know not everyone celebrates it and they don't celebrate it the same way. Holidays like Christmas have always been a time for family for me so I have always enjoyed them. On Christmas Eve, we usually get some pizza and wings and sit around playing board games and stuff. We do gifts in the evening instead of on Christmas cause it is easier. Christmas Day we get together at my parent's house (used to be my grandparent's house when they were both alive on my mom's side) and have a nice family dinner together.

Doing the deed while family is close by?

This is something I couldn't ever do, even when I was younger. I have a friend though who lives with her parents still and her boyfriend moved in with them. They give them money and buy groceries which is fine I guess, it ends up being cheaper than rent and they are trying to save. Anyway, her room is directly next to her parent's bedroom and they have no issues doing the deed when they know her parents are like less than 12 inches of a thing wall apart. I just couldn't do it.

You ever been able to perform like this? I mean to me, it is weird. Like I am sure my parents got it on when I was growing up but they were discrete about it. I never knew.

Do you like the snow or no?

I am probably one of the few people in my area that actually enjoys it. I like cold weather. Most people around here complain though. I like watching the snowfall. It is nice having my candles lit and looking outside at night seeing it fall. It is relaxing to me. I don't like driving in it when it is a mess, but outside of that I love the wintertime.

Does anyone else like to snow or no?

Symone Sanders, Harris' chief spokesperson, to leave White House

I guess her meaningless role of “Chief Eyeglass Doctor for Stevie Wonder“ ain’t working out. There’s rumors that Biden is basically putting a brick wall between his staff and Kamala’s. In addition, that Kamala’s staff is disorganized, chaotic, and messy which is believable. Kamala doesn’t give off leader vibes to me.

Symone Sanders, Vice President Kamala Harris' chief spokesperson and senior adviser, is leaving the Biden administration at the end of the year, according to a source familiar with the decision.

"Symone has served honorably for three years," the source told CNN. "The President and vice president are grateful for Symone's service and advocacy for this White House. She is a valued member, a team player, and she will be missed. We are grateful to have her working through the end of the year."
Sanders acknowledged her exit in a Wednesday letter to her colleagues, shared with CNN, in which she thanked Harris chief of staff Tina Flournoy.

"I'm so grateful to the VP for her vote of confidence from the very beginning and the opportunity to see what can be unburdened by what has been," the letter stated. "I'm grateful for Tina and her leadership and her confidence as well. Every day, I arrived to the White House complex knowing our work made a tangible difference for Americans. I am immensely grateful and will miss working for her and with all of you."

Tekashi 6ix9ine's GF: I'm 25 And Have No Job... "All I Know How To Do Is Sell This P***y"

How did we get to the point where trashy opinions like this were tolerated? Why is this level of moral depravity. I’m with Willie D that prostitution is as old as time but damn that when did hoes get the pride? When did it become cool to partake in degenerate behaviors? Where did we go wrong?

Mulattoes Who Pass For White - The Phil Donahue Show

This was a good conversation. I see Aunt Hattie in pretty much everybody on the panel, but it was good to see people who could pass loudly proclaiming their Blackness.

Also, S/O to Rock Newman. He's always been a stand up, stomp down pro-Black celebrity; and he has done a lot of good work here in the DMV.
S/O to Phil Donahue, too. He always gave unapologeticly Black people a voice when no other major media outlets would.

Eric Adams promises to appoint tougher judges amid NYC bail-reform debate

PBT and TBA warned us! Eric Adams is basically a law and order candidate in Black face. This is exactly why skin color is by meaningless without seeing how they think.

“I appoint criminal court judges and I’m going to be extremely clear: If you don’t understand that my city must be safe, and you can’t get caught up in the politics in this city,” Adams said on the ABC show.

“And you must make sure that those who pose an imminent threat to our city — they are not going to be placed back on my streets and back into my community,” he said.

2021-The white opioid addicts receive state sanctioned drug injection sites, medical facilities v 1990s: the crack/cocaine era where black people receive mandatory minimums, 3 strikes, life sentences and prison doors

Decriminalization v Criminalization

NYC IS THE FIRST CITY IN THE U.S. TO OPEN SUPERVISED DRUG INJECTION SITE, IN HOPES OF PREVENTING OVERDOES

People dying from drug overdoses are growing at an alarming rate, especially in New York City.
There’s been a dramatic increase since the pandemic in 2020. As reported on NBC last year, over 2,000 individuals died from an overdose. It hasn’t been that high since 2000.To help combat the issue, New York is the first state to launch supervised drug injection sites in NYC.
The city launched a “harm reduction” strategy designed to “reduce an unprecedented surge of overdose deaths,” NPR reports. Mayor Bill de Blasio backs the program and made the announcement today (November 30). He said,
“Overdose Prevention Centers are a safe and effective way to address the opioid crisis. I’m proud to show cities in this country that after decades of failure, a smarter approach is possible.”
The overdose prevention center (OPC) services are safe places where people who use drugs can get clean needles and medical care. They also offer addiction treatment, and individuals can get connected to social services. The OPCs will serve as an extension of existing services.

Fat Joe and Fetty WAP talk about legal troubles, daughter’s passing, rap hiatus

I’m not a fan of Fat Joe or Fetty but I must say this was an engaging interview. Discussion points:
- Fetty had 10 mill in album sales but still went broke due to bad contracts and managers
- Fetty discusses the night of his 4 year old daughters death
- Recent RICO indictment
-Depression (he went from being in the hot spot with Drake to nothing, no features
- mental health concerns: talks about being in a real dark space when the fame and money is no longer there along with the people he lost. How he feels like he has to front and put on a facade to fight his inner demons
-Lost his eyesight as a child (reason for eye condition)
- having to pay for his own tours, marketing out of his pocket despite being a double platinum artist

Really sad interview but gems were dropped. Basically Fetty Wap seems a lot more humble and personable. Personally, I think if Fetty would have been more in touch with himself like he is in this interview - he wouldn’t be seen as a one hit wonder gimmicky type rapper. Because clearly he is very articulate and thoughtful.
