Are you into the holiday season or does it stress you out?

I know some people who are obsessed with it. Like they can't wait to start putting out lights, buying gifts, and all that. I also know some people who dread it every year and are the last to do anything for the holiday. I even know a couple of people who legit go into hiding cause they don't wanna deal with family drama. What type are you? Do you enjoy the holiday season? Are you luke warm about it? Or do you hate it?

My Anchor Channel

About 2 years ago my Doctor suggested I start Ranting online about whats going on around me. Said it would help lower my BP and it has. Now, I am NOT a pro pod maker and frankly all of this recording is still kinda new and I started my Anchor FM channel recordingThe New Black Media hard hitters like Jason Black, Professor Black Truth, Minister Jap, Bunker TV, NFAC and others. I dont have any fancy intros of bells and whistles type shit. I like to record the New Black Media hard hitters and that is what I was doing with the Anchor channel at first and am still doing that, just in the last 24 months I have started what I call "Rant in the Black" where I just talk into this bootlegged mic.

Colorism in this family ruined my outlook life so I talk about the cooning within this family, the incest that has happened within this family...I mean the gag order is lifted and I am no longer going to hold everything in.
I have lost 2 good childhood friends to suicide...I don't want to be the 3rd. At times I feel that Happiness is a private club that refuses to let me join.

Did you ever know someone who kept you around as a backup?

I've dated a few women who I think weren't really that invested in our relationship. One girl I dated, I swear she dated me to just get back at an ex, and once he came back to her, she broke it off with me. I also dated this another girl who I was really into. We dated for a few months, and then she just broke up with me. Saw her a week later with this dude at a bar and that was it. I get a text from her the same night, apologizing for it, and saying that she really likes me, but she's just seeing what's out there for now. But, we start to text again, and it got sexual pretty fast.

I assumed she was just on a date, but a week later, I go to the same bar again and she's there with the same dude, making out and everything. I realized, she was just keeping me around in case her current relationship didn't work out. The same night, she texts me, asking what I'm up to. I didn't respond. She got a bit annoyed by that, and called me a bitch and that was it.

Has this ever happened to you? Where you're really into someone, and you think they are too, but it turns out to not be the case and they're just stringing you along as a backup boyfriend if her current one doesn't work out.

The trash barber in the barbershop

I did that once. I just walked in and didn’t feel like waiting, and dude was like I got you right here playa! He pushed my line back so far, you could see what I was thinking. That’s when I learned a valuable life lesson that can be applied to many situations…. “I would rather have no haircut, than a bad haircut.

The bad thing is my barber ain’t ever there. I hate him, but I need him though. dolemitedisgust

If this keeps up, how soon do you think it will take before it's un fixable?

Are black women required to have abortions?

Sure, the dominant society wants black women to get abortions, which is why it is readily available in black communities, but do a bunch of Planned Parenthoods in the neighborhood mean black women are required to get them?

This could be a wrong perception, but this seems like a hot button issue. IMO if a woman wants an abortion, let her get an abortion. She might regret it and she might not.

I know I might be getting a little out of my lane on this one as it is a hetero issue and I am a Homo but I'm curious as to people's thoughts.

"native American" are a mixed race.

The fact that Black people were once the only race on the planet, it's not unthinkable to think they didn't inhabit every or at least explored most of the land on this rock. I've always known that the "native Americans" didn't just pop up out of nowhere (like how the Asians believe they got here) the base for all humanity, to its core comes from a Black man and women.

High Standards In Dating

I think it's good to have high standards, but you have to be honest with yourself. If you feel like you wouldn't date yourself, then maybe you should reevaluate what kind of expectations you have for others. Your standards are too high when you're asking for something you are not able to give to someone else, or to yourself. What are your thoughts?

Why does Apple think their pricing is fair?

I want to appreciate Apple and use their products, but I can't come to terms with the fact that their products are just too expensive. I get that their products are priced that way because it's Apple. So for some reason, they feel like they can overprice their products. I feel like a lot of Apple Macbooks or Macs in general are overpriced for the specs they have. I mean, couldn't you buy a Windows PC with the same specs for much cheaper?

I wouldn't know, because I never purchased a Mac, but I assume that they are priced the way they are because of their name alone. I could probably custom build a PC with better specs for cheaper.

iPhones are another story. Because you can always get a contract plan and get the phone for cheaper or even free depending on how long you are on a plan. But not with the Mac or their other devices.

I just never agreed with the pricing they go with. If they priced a bit more fairly, I would maybe get Apple products more.

Brett Favre got busted for collecting money meant for welfare

Brett Favre must return $828K in welfare funds to Mississippi or face civil lawsuit, state auditor says

Former NFL quarterback Brett Favre must return $828,000 that he received from welfare funds, according to a statement from Mississippi State Auditor Shad White. The funds were supposed to go to families in need. Favre received a total of $1.1 million in funds from two non-profit organizations, whose owners have been indicted on federal and state charges concerning their alleged role in the largest embezzlement scheme in Mississippi history.

Favre isn't facing any criminal charges for his involvement, but if he doesn't repay the money within 30 days he will face a civil lawsuit, as will Favre Enterprises. White announced that Mississippi Department of Human Services former executive director John Davis isn't so lucky, as he is currently awaiting trial on embezzlement charges related to the scheme.

Fun fact: I grew up in Mississippi and used to pass his house all of the time on my to Hattiesburg. I once saw him cutting his lawn riding on his riding mower.
