In the "Roland Master Class on Tubi" YouTube video, Roland Martin discusses the historical treatment of Black-owned media by Fox Broadcasting and its impact on the present day with Tubi's focus on Black content. The discussion also covers the manipulation and disparities in news and information on social media platforms, the financial disparities faced by Black-owned media in the advertising industry, and the collective power of Black organizations to uplift and support Black-owned media. In the YouTube video titled "Roland Martin on Tubi, Black-owned media funding, and consumer power," the host emphasizes the need for fair advertising allocations for Black-owned media and challenges corporations to invest $10 million in his platform until November. Martin argues that this funding would enable town halls and city broadcasts, which other mainstream media channels also utilize. He highlights the importance of equitable advertising budgets for industries like automotive and pharmaceuticals, believing that increased funding for Black-owned media results in a more diverse range of programming, ultimately creating a more inclusive media landscape. The speaker also stresses that Black audiences drive significant revenue for largely white media companies but often face discrimination and lack of support. They encourage viewers to invest in Black-owned media and use their consumption power to hold companies accountable for proper representation and funding of Black voices and stories

Vivek Ramaswamy Never Has The Same Energy For White Folks

Racism is not just about skin color. It's an ideology and a religion. Vivek Ramaswamy is as anti black as anyone. A first generation anchor baby with immigrant parents (1 here illegally) has nothing but vitriol for the black community. This is his strategy to pander to his racist base. But ohh boy, when Trump speaks, crickets. He had all the smoke for"WOKE" (meaning black), but when challenged by White people, not a peep. I call these people Bully Coons. They only bully certain groups or individuals. Well at this point Vivek, no matter what your parents put on your birth certificate, your base is showing you the opposite of what Biden said about us, "You Ain't White"

Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick Allegedly Connected To Murder Of Stripper

I am posting this to say that I remember when Kilpatrick was in office while I was a child. I had high hopes of him to make some real progress in overall turning Detroit around. I saw entirely too much grimy stuff from him like going to restaurants and not paying saying that he was the mayor and should not have to pay. It definitely appeared that he was all about having power and clout while not being the leader he should have been. If this allegation is true regarding the murdered stripper, I would not be surprised.

Medical Mixup Death

Guilty Pleasure TV Show

I was having a conversation with some people who told me that they had a favorite show that they didn't want others to know they watched. I will be honest. When I was a teenager, there was a show on called "Flavor of Love" which starred Flavor Flav from the group Public Enemy. There was another show called "I Love New York." All the students I went to school with (boys and girls) were entertained by these dating shows. The shows seemed to be about acting for camera time while pretending to love whoever the show was about. As the years progressed, I started feeling shame that I even spent time watching that mess since it made our people look like a bunch of buffoons. Yes, I know there were other races of folks on those shows as well, but it was something I realized and stopped watching all these "reality TV shows."

What is one of your guilty pleasure TV shows?

Weather Is Getting Crazy Out There!

I saw some places were getting blasted with snow big time and temps were getting real cold, especially at night. We had some strong wins yesterday that caused me to lose power a few times but thankfully it came right back. I would have been freezing my butt off otherwise.

How is the weather by you where you are ate?
