I was going to suggest they head over to 6ZEROS.net to settle it. Too bad YaYa or one of them blocked me from their space. Childish. I didn’t even say one word against them.

lol...I take the good with the bad. I look at a person's overall effect and their contributions in its entirety. I over look the bad if the good is way, way more. I get frustrated at Dr. Umar's ego but the man spits some good ass stuff. Jason Black can be cringeworthy in how he treats people and a couple people I turned them on to said they couldn't get past his attitude, so don't listen to him.
Same with Tariq, whatever issues I have with him, its not enough for me not to f*ck with him. I can't say that for others. I can't blame someone for not messing with him. For me its the work. He does great work in my humble opinion. The 'negatives' aren't a big deal for me, but I have friends for whom it is.
Send them niggas to Boxden where they belong.
I'm gonna try to check this out later. All he had to do was not mention her at all, smh.Meechee is roasting him again. All Tariq says is that she is a hood rat but she comes with the smoke.

I don’t like the poster but he pointed out Tariq’s hypocrisy perfectly. He does things and when it’s done back to him then he is crying bloody murder.
Just finished listening... Lots of truth spoken and the last 10 minutes definitely hit the hardest. We'll see who's still about the work once the smoke clears and in the years to come.Meechee is roasting him again. All Tariq says is that she is a hood rat but she comes with the smoke.
We sure will. I don’t even know why those two fell out in the first place. But my money is on Meechee as she doesn’t turn everything she does into a sale. Not saying it’s wrong to do but it makes me question your motivations.Just finished listening... Lots of truth spoken and the last 10 minutes definitely hit the hardest. We'll see who's still about the work once the smoke clears and in the years to come.
#STT ARE the new age version of the niggas standing in front of the store all damn day debating Ancient Egypt, Crystals, Magic, religion, Reptilians, and all that. You go there for a coffee and a donut in the morning them niggas is there. You stop by for a Red Bull after work and them niggas is there.I don’t think that the Secure The Tribe folks are any more controversial than the below average triflin’ 🆖🅰️ on the street. I believed that they meant well in the beginning of 2022, Reparations/Black Empowerment/etc., but as usual, a little fame given to folks brings out the best or worst character traits that they already have. The youngsters might learn from the error of their ways, but we need to look at this event like a medical triage situation- some are not critically injured enough to receive care & others are too far critically injured & WILL die anyway even if they receive the best care. We must focus of those in whatever is left of STT that are ready to receive the proper B1 message & code. Remember, we’re at war with the system of wh⚪️te supremacy. Everybody that made it into 2022 ain’t gonna make it into 2023. Dr. John Hendrik Clarke already told us to bury the man & carry on with the plan! ✊🏿✌🏿🙏🏿
Are you talking about the “Marcus Sanders” background? I don’t know if I believe it but I don’t know if I disbelieve it either. It's fairly well documented, a lot of by Tariq himself of his background. It will only be a surprise to those who don't know his background. I recall some non FBA chatrooms talking about his background. I'm thinking 'So what? Who cares? It only matters if Tariq's supporters want it to matter'
It doesn’t have to be new to still be accurate. The Mechee thing loses a bit because there isn't much new. Casual listeners wouldn't know that but anyone that has listened to him regularly will know his background. It's a quality roast, but its not going to stop anyone from f*cking with if they already have been.
I don't think his critics really care about the things you mentioned. It's more so the contradictions in everything he says. Actual sound clips of him saying one thing and doing and saying other things that 100% contradict the original thing he said.Supposedly Tariq's birthname is Marcus Saunders I think. Not 100 percent sure but I've heard a few of his detractors say that. And he's not denied when someone called in to troll. I'm like 'So what?' Many people change their name. There are some rapper who we never knew their real name, ever. If someone chooses another name, so be it. You respect that choice and change unless anyone thinks its okay to refer to Malcolm X as Malcolm Little and Mohammed Ali as Casius Clay?
Tariq was a street cat. By his own admission. Again so what? So was Malcolm X. No he's not of that level, but the point is people have backgrounds and take on a whole new direction. Jay Z and countless other rappers sold drugs.
And another thing. People will say how can he be pro black with a biracial wife. And by extension a white mother in law. Again, we've all seen his wife, I wouldn't have known she was half white if no one told me. Also, so what? She's black. Interesting thing is we will claim famous people in history, Queen Charlotte, Beethoven, even Meghan 'passing for white' Markle as black, Halle Berry, Dave Justice, Mariah Carey, we claim all them but say his wife ain't?
Does anyone say Frederick Douglas and Bob Marley ain't black? Both got white fathers. So, if anyone gonna say his wife ain't black they gotta say all others I mentioned ain't either.
This isn't a 'defend Tariq' post, its a pointing out hypocrisy post.
I like this response because you presented a lot of valid points. Im in agreement that productiviy and results is what should give someone clout.Supposedly Tariq's birthname is Marcus Saunders I think. Obviously it's personal because Tariq made it personal when he called her a hood rat, made fun of her autistic son, and constantly throws shots at her. It's obviously deeply personal with her and at the risk of sounding sexist, women tend to say things men won't even go near.
You say lines like this but then immediately go back to defending Tariq. You may like his documentaries and new flags every other month but as person he is extremely immature and petty. Even if we go off his documentaries they got played out after HC3. Hidden Colors 4 and 5 were the same ol' talking head format where you have people saying things totally unsubstantiated. He even took that same format, did it live, and called it the FBA Conference. Tariq is a hustler and I think if people see him as anything more than that they are setting themselves up for disappointment.I think she can be both pro black and say harmful off code things. Same with Tariq and anyone,
LOL...it could easily be read as such. I'm a fan of his but I also understand why others aren't into him. The only thing I've ever defended him on if his body of work is diminished unfairly. I don't defend him being petty and I won't be in others comments on youtube who go in on his pettiness. I try and stay with facts. He's not everyone's cup of tea. I get it. No problem with me. But if someone isn't his fan and tries to question his actual record then I take issue as I would with anyone in this space who at least has done some things. You can't take that away. And your post absolutely sounds like you're defending Tariq.
"I think she can be both pro black and say harmful off code things. Same with Tariq and anyone," I thought this said Tariq was also pro black and said harmful things?Obviously it's personal because Tariq made it personal when he called her a hood rat, made fun of her autistic son, and constantly throws shots at her.

Exactly!! I was telling my family last night... "What if one or a few of these people are this generation's Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc." The next generation will look back at us and say, "How did they fall for THAT?!"I have dealt with several NBM personalities behind the scenes and some that are loved and cherished are bitch ass niggas.
The issue I was trying to highlight is how you drop one line to appear impartial but then roll into a defense of Tariq."I think she can be both pro black and say harmful off code things. Same with Tariq and anyone," I thought this said Tariq was also pro black and said harmful things?
Defend him about what specifically? Maybe there is someone out there but again, no one has his body of work since HC1. Maybe its played out to you or others. That is strictly an opinion. The fact they have all out-sold major Hollywood movies on Amazon would suggest otherwise. My thing is don't like Tariq, fair enough. His pettiness and actions can make some people not be his fan. But the guy has an enviable track record of delivering. I can't see how pointing that out is wrong. Now, those that don't like him may see his faults as overshadowing the work. Fair enough in yours or anyone else's minds. I am not hear to change that.
Put it like this. I think pretty much everyone all the way down the line, Tariq, FBA, PBT, Dr. Umar, Mechee, Dr. Boyce Watkins Vicki Dillard (yes, her too), Marcel, and a few others I can't recall. And although I think they are going down the wrong route/strategy, Antonio Moore and Yvette Carnell's hearts are in the right place. I listened to them a lot more previously and don't now but they dropped some very good info and analysis in my humble opinion at times way back. Secure The Tribe as well. Their execution isn't good, but they are talking reparations.
The few that I think do more harm than good? BLM the organization, and a few others I don't support one iota.
All of these folks are talking black empowerment. They aren't all perfect by any stretch but at the end of the day, its black empowerment, reparations (even if I disagree with the ones who want it for non FBA), etc.
For me, the more black voices saying it is a good thing. If or rather when we get a certain percentage of blacks on that tip, sh*t will change faster. You and disagree maybe about Tariq or possibly other things but for me its very minor. Its very, very obvious you are deeply pro black and for me that's all I ask. With that, I support you or anyone to succeed.
1 million percent correctHe’s great until he talks about sex then it’s creepy
You’ve been creeped out too it looks like.1 million percent correct
When Tariq and Mechee first had their falling out he mocked Mechee's kids so… He made fun of her son, who at the time was still locked up, and her daughter was harassedAnyway, Mechee went all the way in. It's obviously deeply personal with her and at the risk of sounding sexist, women tend to say things men won't even go near. She just flat out said she couldn't give a f*ck about his kids and went further after that. I think she can be both pro black and say harmful off code things. Same with Tariq and anyone, including yours truly and yourselves if you are honest. Emotion is emotion and we are often led by it when triggered but damn!
Im glad someone remembers this. He was extremely disrespectful and out of line just as he was with Yaya. When Tariq and Mechee first had their falling out he mocked Mechee's kids so… He made fun of her son, who at the time was still locked up, and her daughter was harassed
Basically think of the dividing line being about agendas.I'm so confused on what the new black media is
Oh, I understand now. Thank you for the straight forward, simplistic explanation. Now that I know what the New Black Media is, I agree heavily with the change, but why are STT and NBM fighting??? Aren't all these people apart of these political divisions the same people? the Black American people? I'm kind of baffled on why we're infighting so much for something we could try to colaborate on. It's creating a kind of pseudo tribal system based on politics that doesn't look too good for us in the long run.Basically think of the dividing line being about agendas.
Old Black Media pushed Democrat or government talking points.
- Black and Brown
- Vote Blue no matter who
- Coalitions
New Black Media pushes a Black Agenda.
- Reparations
- Being On Code
- Group Economics
- Permanent Interest, Temporary Friends
It’s stupid AF but what happened is that #STT was upset when they did the pull-ups because they felt like #theblackauthority #tariqnasheed and #professorblacktruth did not support them by promoting the pull ups. They were most disappointed with Tariq because they said they supported all his movies and events but that he didn’t come through for them.Oh, I understand now. So basically Tariq single handedly started a political civil war between Black Americans... Got it.It’s stupid AF but what happened is that #STT was upset when they did the pull-ups because they felt like #theblackauthority #tariqnasheed and #professorblacktruth did not support them by promoting the pull ups. Tariq lashed out at them and called them names and doxxed one of the leaders of #securethetribe Yaya. He released her real name, pictures of her, and her criminal record. This created a larger rift between the groups and then the rest of the NBM piled on. Everyone made programming attacking Secure the Tribe and some was warranted and some wasn’t.
Phil Scott of the African Diaspora News Network had the best response to Secure the Tribe. He basically said “you can’t expect us to support something you didn’t come to us to plan”. He also said “if you’re doing it for the clout then you’re not in this with the right intention”. It was a nice grown man approach to it all. No name calling, no doxxing, or anything. The thing we have to remember is that we cannot have a code if there are members in our community that believe they are above the code.So basically Tariq single handedly started a political civil war between Black Americans... Got it.
That was a god awful move by Tariq, he's burning bridges too
He was called out about it 2 weeks and said “I’m a boss, what are you going to do about it…you can’t do anything”. How people still follow him after that baffles me.So basically Tariq single handedly started a political civil war between Black Americans... Got it.
That was a god awful move by Tariq, he's burning bridges too
I didn’t agree with Secure the Tribe, I think a lot of them are ghetto and always curse and talk about fist fighting. But I think they had some good points that should have been addressed head on. Instead it turned into a ghetto back and forth and now people are choosing sides instead of focusing on reparations. So basically Tariq single handedly started a political civil war between Black Americans... That what always seem to happen sooner or later their is a fight to see who is the true saviour of black peopleI didn’t agree with Secure the Tribe, I think a lot of them are ghetto and always curse and talk about fist fighting. That’s exactly what we have but I don’t think it’s going to last too long. You can’t beef with everyone. That what always seem to happen sooner or later their is a fight to see who is the true saviour of black people
Ha that what you thinkThat’s exactly what we have but I don’t think it’s going to last too long. You can’t beef with everyone.
That is an accurate assessment. Why I think Secure The Tribe was wrong about was that they expected something that wasn't a given.
By that I mean, you never heard the new black media, who all know each other either personally or by reputation ever complain one of the others didn't support their project enough.
So, STT expecting support would have a point if that's how things normally were. It isn't. STT's beliefs (reparations for FBAs, etc) are in line with everyone else's. Their way of conducting business isn't professional.
But to be fair to Tariq, he didn't 'start anything'. STT talked about him (and TBA, PBT, etc) first. Tariq can be criticized for how he responded if you think he didn't handle it correctly or handled it wrongly but STT came at him first. Let's be accurate about that.
You are not going to beat Tariq at being petty, by his own admission. As Biggie once said....
Yeah. He seems like a horny man who has a hard time getting laid. You’ve been creeped out too it looks like.
The New Black Media is the pro-Black channels on social media that are not controlled by White mainstream that hates us.I'm so confused on what the new black media is
Yeah. Some may be complicit in what is going on in society.Exactly!! I was telling my family last night... "What if one or a few of these people are this generation's Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc." The next generation will look back at us and say, "How did they fall for THAT?!"
A lot of masks are cracking and just plain slipping off right now... I've been noticing a lot of strange behavior from multiple NBM voices since April. We have to read between the lines of what people say and don't say. What they acknowledge and don't acknowledge. And use plain ole common sense. I know it feels better to quickly defend someone and dismiss someone else. But we don't know these people at the end of the day.
I don't think some of those STT can fight. They don't seem like the type that can do so.I didn’t agree with Secure the Tribe, I think a lot of them are ghetto and always curse and talk about fist fighting. But I think they had some good points that should have been addressed head on. Instead it turned into a ghetto back and forth and now people are choosing sides instead of focusing on reparations.
Some look at Tariq as their daddy or savior. He was called out about it 2 weeks and said “I’m a boss, what are you going to do about it…you can’t do anything”. How people still follow him after that baffles me.
Tariq had me cracked up when he roasted Yaya. He went in on her boots and her non attractive booty she was twerking. It’s stupid AF but what happened is that #STT was upset when they did the pull-ups because they felt like #theblackauthority #tariqnasheed and #professorblacktruth did not support them by promoting the pull ups. Agree. We need to get on code asap.Phil Scott of the African Diaspora News Network had the best response to Secure the Tribe.
