Me, I'm personally an artist, not professional, but I enjoy doing art, and in the future I would've liked to acquire a job pertaining to artistry, but I've been quite demotivated by the recent advancements of AI art, and it's super scary how good it's becoming in such a short amount of time. I feel like in the future, artists will no longer be needed anymore; making being an artist solely a hobby, with no income being able to be made from your skillset. AI automation isn't only going to affect artists, but is going to affect all people who are involved in creative media, like music, writing, video creation, website development, etc... AI automation will take jobs just like automation did to factory working (even though not as controversial, it's an example).
Artists will eventually need to compete with AI art, I think that in the near future artists will start moving back to traditional paperback art, rather than digital art, because it's more authentic, and is something that AI art truly cannot replicate.
What are your opinions of automation?
