Thank you and like I said to ProMoatBlack it is applicable to me and #tethergate it is about things I’ve seen recently in my personal life. Where we think we are building rapport for our good deeds but we are really just feeding and enriching people who do not care for us one bit.

Unfortunately I had to deal with this from family. It's sad when you have to separate from those you love out of self preservation. Some people will bleed you dry if you let them.

Yes mam!!! February 2nd she will be induced into labor. Keep us in your prayers. We had our first child at home. This time due to twins we have to have them in the hospital. Thankfully mama bear is healthy enough to deliver vaginally and both babies are head down. Almost time sis!!

This is why my dad told me and my brothers growing up to never tell other people about our finances. If we were to ever win the lottery or score some high paying job, just don't even talk about it cause people will be lining up with open hands and casting all kinds of hate your way if you don't pay out.

Some of them barely even try to conceal their contempt of, manipulation of, and resentment for you when they try to ask, demand, pressure, guilt, or shame you into buying their way, especially if they have little to no respect for you in the first place.

Many will try to shame and gaslight you even after you help them. Hell some of them will spit in your face and still disrespect and think/speak ill of you even after you help them. Lots of subtle and overt jealousy and envy (and resentment from that same jealousy and envy) when you examine carefully. I am talking about all races, ages, genders, etc. of people by the way. From strangers to friends to family to enemies and anyone else.

Them: No! Why would we/I help you or share with you when you never do anything for us?
Me: Well that's not true. I did [this] and I did [that]. And remember I did [this]?
Them: That doesn't count [and makes lame BS excuses on why what I did to help them wasn't good enough and how I'm still a selfish person]
Also Them: Come on, give us/me some. You're selfish. We/I always try to share with you.

Have you experienced anything like this? I have heard stories but I don't know anyone personally who was holding some blackmail over someone to squeeze money out of them.
