It's not a fair comparison to women because women don't have to hunt to have sex. A man with no money has no chance of getting sex, a broke woman can get sex whenever but what a woman can't get readily is a man to commit to her.

I think you make a good point. I believe it is our rigidity in some of our ideals about the way things "should be" that makes us so easy to destabilize. Of course these ideals made for strong family units and communities, but if you have an entity that does not want you to have those strong family units and communities, they have the formula for your destruction because you are unable to stray from the blueprint.
At the same time is "the way it should be" social or natural? Do you think we'd be hearing about how independent women are if we didn't have this highly evolved society? If people had to hunt for food, had to build their own shelter, and protect their land would we still see this same strong and independence?
I do not believe there is any difference between social and natural. We are natural beings living in a natural world. The things we do (societies) come from our nature. We built them in nature using nature. I think it's literally impossible for us to do anything unnatural. It's a word that has no meaning in reality because "unnatural" doesn't exist. But I digress LOL.

No, there is a single natural order. You'll see it the second you and your independent are in fear of death, she will expect you to rise up to the occasion. At the end of the day we don’t know why she’s a virgin but her inability to find a suitable mate in such a long stretch of time is indicative of maybe some interpersonal dysfunction.
Is it discipline though? It could also be stubbornness which is not a praiseworthy characteristic.
She stated that she was raised in a strict house hold and that she is standing on her religious beliefs---plus she didn't take credit for it, she gave all the glory to God. Seems like she is clear on and disciplined in her practice, in my opinion, that is praiseworthy. There aren't many people who can claim to have sustatined that level of integrity for 50 years at anything.

I have to say that is VERY impressive but I am with you 100%. I would not want to be running around after a toddler in my 60s, at least not full-time! I am sure having children later in life keeps you young but it has to be painful.

I do believe that it is okay to wait until marriage before having any sexual relations, but there comes a point in life that you need to put yourself out there, try to find your compatible person. I find it to be rather extraordinary that this 50-year-old woman has never had any type of sexual relationship, nor has she had any sex toys in her lifetime.
