Great contribution and welcome to the board. You have highlighted the issue that perplexes me the most about Dr. Umar. He is an AMAZING orator, he communicates Black issues better than most and he grips you instantly. But on the flip side there's so much drama, nonsense, chaos, egotistical nonsense that it makes it hard to listen to him regularly. I have to dip in for the good content and dip out real quick.Hello everyone. First time poster, here.
I watched this video this afternoon. Found it to be a really good breakdown of the brainwashed blacks and their relationship with white religious precepts. When speaking on this topic, Dr. Umar always makes a point to say he doesn't have a problem with believing; his problem is the fanatics. And he's right on that. The folks who are vehemently dogged about their favorite religious dogmas are most times UNBEARABLE to deal with when it comes to discussing the struggle we still face as black Americans. They are in effect neutralized as contributors to help bring us closer to the justice we've been seeking. Now full disclosure, I don't always watch his videos because, more than not, they seem self aggrandizing and self promoting (specifically speaking about his school and the "beefs" with other personalities) but when he goes into "educator mode", he rarely misses his mark.
Tariq gon have the museum up befo the school.i could listen to dude talk for hours
but the school bruh.
Tariq gon have the museum up befo the school.
This nigga drop a video of him painting every now and then or cleaning up a room to keep the scam going and shit.u aint lying. i didnt even think tariq was gonna make it. he must have had some big donors last minute.
i saw umar congratulated tariq but i know he felt exposed.
but its gonna feel a lot worse when it actually opens.
at this point i stay tuned into umar just to see how long this is going to go on.
last i heard, hes just waiting on the hvac and plumbing....
that was 2 years ago.
and this has been going on for more than 10, i believe.

Me when he's talking about White Supremacy and Black America
Me when he's talking about FDMG, Book Tours, and Dating
To your other point, dogmatic Black people as you have stated are DEAD WEIGHT. When you prioritize a Christian, Republican, Democrat, or any other agenda over a Black Agenda you are worthless to us.

Recently, he had a title called the first basket for whatever the gym was named so I clicked it out of curiosity because I was like "OMG he hosted a bball game?!?!?"...........Yeeeeeeeeeah nope no ball game it was HIM.... DRIBBLING the ball and then shooting while saying to the camera "The first shots taken in the (i don't know what he named the gym) gymnasium" And I'm like welp, I fell for that click bait.exactly,

How do you feel about black conservatives that dont subscribe to republican conservatism but believe in in some principles of social conservatism ?Hello everyone. First time poster, here.

Well he had other videos but none of them got the views the Umar joints did so he pivoted to Umar exclusively.i saw one or two of his videos. but it seemed umar was all he could talk about.
I feel like you described the average Black American. We are socially conservative but politically more liberal. How do you feel about black conservatives that dont subscribe to republican conservatism but believe in in some principles of social conservatism ?
It’s non-stop bruh. It’s a terrible show, laughing and super chats with 30 seconds of Umar video. All of that goofy laughing Lenon does gets on my nerves, too.
That nigga be getting hella super chats so he getting to the bagi saw one or two of his videos. but it seemed umar was all he could talk about.
Depends on which answer you're looking for, the easy one or the more involved one. Because the easy answer, I would argue, and I think @Jay made this point in his recent post, is that the average black person is inherently conservative. We don't want the government in our business. We don't want them infringing on our rights as human beings and we want them to stay the entire FUC|< away from us and our families. We as a people have had ENOUGH of the government dictating our lives. We have a "Don't come for me until I send for you" disposition which is about as conservative as one can imagine; arguably even bordering on libertarianism a bit.How do you feel about black conservatives that dont subscribe to republican conservatism but believe in in some principles of social conservatism ?
Great video. Mad crazy super chats I watched some of his other videos and he does seem obsessed with Umar but I get it. That's what keeps the ppl coming back so that's the direction he goes in.Lenon is some dude that made a documentary on umar and has a youtube show talkin bout him.

Meanwhile, it gets tricky because of folks like Candace Owens, The Hodge Twins, Sage Steel, Larry Elder etc. sh!+ goes all the way left(the phrase, I mean; not politically left) when they get involved because they claim the moniker of "Black Conservative." In reality, they are bought and paid for coons paraded in front of the cameras for younger and/or middle of the road whites to dispel the existence of the black experience here in America and denigrate our stories (i.e. take a look at Candance Owens regarding George Floyd's murder). This way, when those whites get older or are on the fence politically about something, they can be as dismissive and unbothered of our continued torture and mistreatment in this country just like their parents and grandparents probably are and choose not to vote for the safety of some of their fellow countrymen where applicable. In essence, the above-mentioned 'characters' are tasked with illustrating this picture of the "typical Black Conservative" as having this 'work hard and you'll be rewarded' belief because most whites hold that same belief. And on the surface, I and most black people believe in that too. Put in the work and receive the rewards of your hard work. However, the truth of the matter is we as average Black Americans understand, inner-stand and over-stand that's it's more convoluted than that. This belief only applies when we dribble, throw, pass, shoot, pitch, run and score points of some kind because white folks believe it's all we're good for. Their FUXKING ENTERTAINMENT. Heaven for-fuxking-bid we get a doctorate or a law degree, or run for office so that we can have a voice and seat at the table, or speak openly about racial injustice, or call them out on their racism, or check them on their attempted claims of oppression (enter, white alphabet mafiosos). Because what is ALWAYS their go to in those situations? Well look at (fill in the name of successful athlete or entertainer, or popular "black conservative" who espouses anti-blackness).
Anyway, you wrote a one line question and I fuxked around and wrote a whole @$$ dissertation, so my bad. I hope that answers your question though. Thank you for your time.
Thanks for the detailed post . Do you know any good books about the plight we face politically ?Depends on which answer you're looking for, the easy one or the more involved one. Thank you for sharing sis.I can't think of any literature tbh most of my thoughts come from experiencing and observing some form of racism but what I can do is recommend you look into Dr. Claud Anderson. There's a lot of content out there about him. I do know he's written a ton of books but my consuming of his content comes from his interviews on youtube.
Here's one from last Oct: Dr. Claud Anderson interview Oct 2020
Here's another interview he did last Dec: Dr. Claud Anderson interview Dec 2020
