China is an infinitely better position that the US though. They’re moving over to trading in a gold backed currency, creating a new Bloc with all the major commodity producing countries, and are diversifying their trading partners.

Absolute facts. India and China are in a race to see who is going to take the top seat and they are enemies so it's no telling how it will shake out. Those two economies being united in BRICS could pose serious problems for European dominance in this century. Secondly, there have been building collapses in China and the government actually does speak on them. Not only do they speak on them they arrest the people who violated safety standards.
