Nah bruh, He's coming there in bad faith. He's not coming there for any constructive positive reasons.

Like josiah starr said this is way beyond the threshold of "scrutiny and criticism". This is hate. This is crab shit.
Is there a threshold of "Scrutiny and Criticism"?

I hate that I have to write this but I see exactly why our community is stagnant and it is because of Black men. Instead of leading US aka your women and children to freedom you choose to live vicariously through celebrities and entertainers and then argue with one another over whose celebrity is the best.

What have either of these men done to earn so much loyalty and respect from anyone? Why are you all so invested in them to the point that you will call each other names in support of either one? It's a shame that most Black men act much more feminine than us but run around with Becky and call us masculine. We HAVE to be masculine because most of you are whiny bishes that WE CANNOT DEPEND ON.

I say that with love and hurt.

You're supposed to protect us and lead us away from danger but instead you walk us right into it over and over again. You're supposed to be the logical thinkers in our union but most of you run from that role time and time again. Let anyone critique one of these celebrities you live vicariously live through and your supposed masculine energy disappears and you become as sassy as the baby mama's you talk so much shit about. You know the baby mama's that are raising their child alone because a Black man abandoned her? Yes, her.

If Black men don't get their head out of their collective asses we are doomed. I'm disgusted by what I constantly see in our community. Even the Black men that are supposed to be the enlightened act like bishes. What good is all this Black empowerment bullshit if it only empowers to post a tweet?

    Black men, wake up!

I respectfully won't consider TB an agent...yet. Having a beef with Tariq doesn't qualify as an agent in my book. This whole thing helps TB more than Tariq as he will get more people going to his page just to hear more of the mess from his side. They aren't there to hear about his view on black empowerment, etc.

Tariq on the other hand doesn't seem to have anyone advising him on just ignoring dude. Treat him like Tommy Sotomayor and just put him on ignore. At some point some random white interviewer on a big platform such as Fox News might play this video to ambush interview him. The more famous and prominent you are, it also restricts you from doing street ish.

I'm really not interested in any of it. I won't be going to see what TB has to say about it and I listen to Tariq regularly so I guess if he talks about it, I'll have to hear it but if its a podcast dedicated only to it, I will keep it moving to more black empowerment relevant podcasts.

Definitely agree with Jay that a lot of us won't make it. 400 years of systemic and endemic racism has left a lot of us unable to function in a pro black empowerment era. Not their fault 100 percent but the fact remains.

Saw the post about Black men not being accountable. Its 100 percent right on the face of it. This needs to be in context though. Whenever we are not targeted we excel. The black wall streets around the country post Civil War attests to that. Should we rise above any systemic roadblocks? Sure. But its not the norm.

The Irish came to America family oriented, conservative in the 1840s and within a generation were abandoning their families, alcoholic, forming street gangs, etc. They faced massive discrimination at that time. Sound familiar? Sicilians came over very conservative, family oriented in the lat 1800s into the 1900s, within a generation formed organized crime that is still around today. Look at the parents of original founders, Genovese, Bonanno, Gambino, etc. they weren't mafioso. Those Sicilians faced discrimination. You can go down the line to the east European Jews who came around the time as the Sicilians and they were never violent in Ukrain, Poland, etc, but within a generation gave us Dutch Schultz, Meyer Lansky, Bugsy Siegel and 100s of others.

Later on America 'allowed' them to be white like them. So, while, yes, Black men should stand up more, its not unique to for us to be as f*cked up as we are today given how we have been targeted. Again, not an excuse not to try and overcome it, but its not unusual either.

Solutions? You have control over you and what you do. All of us are not just all over America we have people in other countries on this site as well (UK for example). Be the best version of you, of a black man and it will pay dividends. I saw a few thorough brothers growing up and that helped influence me to be a strong black man. Be the example for those around you.

He probably has people advising him but he doesn't listen to anyone and so now it's catching up to him. He's on video admitting to assault, he lost his tenant in his building, he is in court tomorrow for a restraining order he might lose and have to pay court costs, Taharka filed a case against him today, and now he has a huge liability over his head with the Hidden History Museum that's not even 1/10th what he promised. His silly behavior is getting him in some bad spots and any moment can be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Tariq's life is kinda, sorta an open book. I can't think of one brotha who is close to him and he communicates with regularly on day to day stuff that I would deem 'a close advisor' other than Ola.

His wife is possibly the only person I can see who is close enough to him to tell him 'Nah, fall back, not a good look'. As far as the museum, the over whelming respond from his support seems to be okay with it. I'm not referring to those who either don't like or are lukewarm about him. I'm talking about his core support. That's what I am guessing at. Maybe I'm wrong about that and there is and I simply don't see it.

If we take him at his word that he is getting over-whelming requests to be invited to the opening (and I have no reason to believe he is lying), its well supported.

When you pull up from 3000 miles away wearing a bodycam we're beyond scrutiny and entering trolling territory

Your not just entering trolling territory....your building house in it and raising family.

Fly all that way about a damn muesum? For the life of me, if you didn't donate, I will never understand why you should care. Fly out to L.A. to sue...SMH...or to file some CIVIL action in court....For all the Tariq groupies talk, what's funny is the haters are failing to pause and exam themselves.

But love him or hate him.....Tariq get views and eyeballs so this isn't going to stop anytime soon.

Doing all that screams 'I want attention'. He is going to keep doing it till kingdom come. This is the most attention TB has ever had and he's not going to give up quietly. Hearing him talk about it, he was enjoying it all. Yes, Tariq should know better, not disputing that. I can't say I or any of you can't say you wouldn't have pulled up to him as well. But that being said, its clout chasing and attention whoring to the extreme.

I will say it again because I absolutely meant what I said.

Going to see another BLACK man you PUBLICLY and famously dislike at his place of business......for whatever reason....with a damn body 📷.....on an obvious fuckery mission....is BABY MOMMA SHIT....no matter who's doing it. Negreos are going crazy over clicks, views and internet clout. It's sad.

This whole situation is crazy. People could easy get killed pulling stunts like this. I don't give a damn about Tariq or Teyhaka Bey or whoever this guy is..... I could less about corny cartoons, courthouse drama or jokes. I wish both of them the best.....you won't me catch online wishing and hoping for ANOTHER BLACK MAN TO FAIL....even if I disagree with him. If I don't like you, I say my peace and then move away from you and stay cha business. Nothing personal. That's MANHOOD. Stalking and constantly gossiping and trying to provoke a person you dislike.... is HOE SHIT....no MATTER WHO IS DOING IT. Not to mention...it's offcode....btw.

People say Tariq followers are like a cult. I would say they are correct on point. That's my opinion on that matter....but what ppl don't notice is there is ALSO a cult of people who CONSTANTLY hate on Tariq. No one ever mentions that, but if you just watch....you'll notice it. It's ridiculous harmful bullshit on both sides, and now it's resulted in the BS incident in L.A.

Thank God no one was hurt or killed. Honestly, I'm really tired of these BS internet beef/drama between personaties, groups, lineages, etc. None of it floats my boat. It's all a waste and all geared toward egos and infighting. I'm here to defeat WS. If your on that energy, I rock with. Problem is, blacks claiming to be in the Empowerment sphere don't want a "union" amongst ourselves....they really want a monolith while screaming about the need for "unity". We need to honest about that because it is a flaw.

Everyone that’s popular has haters that’s why it’s not pointed out. But also anyone who says anything is called a hater which is why it’s called a cult. When people brought up that the building he bought COULD NOT house what he said he could provide people were called haters. How is it hating to want what he promised out of his own mouth? To me, that’s when we get firmly into cult territory because people are no longer looking at the situation for what it is.

    josiah starr

Problem with that is he explained that situation in detail....on several occasions. Donors knew the initial concept was not going happen with presented property.

Tariq explained why and Donors took him at his word. That's all that matters. Everything else is strawman hating.
    Nesut
    Nesut
Stop calling everything hating, you sound unintelligent. He made a promise and he didn’t keep it, its black and white. Now the next question is why didn’t he keep it. I haven’t heard anything that justifies why he didn’t keep it.

He didn’t have to even stick to LA. He could have bought a bigger building out in the outskirts and been able to fulfill the promise he made to us. But he bought a small building AND HAD A TENANT IN IT and didn’t tell us.

When we brought it up you said we were hating. Every critique of Tariq is hating to you all and that’s because you’re emotionally attached to Tariq.

But he was there to file a lawsuit so it’s not like he flew out just to go to the HHM.
He may have been in LA to file a lawsuit but he was at the museum for drama.

You see it! We need more New Era Detroit energy and less of the nonsense and drama. Our men went from KMT vs. Hebrew Israelites on Sa Neter to FBA vs. The World in a 10 year span and neither has changed. Ok, I’m depressed.

The Black empowerment space is fairly small at the top 'influencer' level. They all know each other by reputation if nothing else. My guess and its only a guess TB was jealous of Tariq hence the little shots.

It's okay to disagree. Personal shots are something else. TBA didn't like Kevin Samuels. Tariq praised him. TBA and Tariq support each other. Neither took it personal, just a matter of opinion.

Every one in that space has some personal flaws. TBA is not a people person. Tariq is petty. Dr. Umar's ego is bigger than his commitment. TB appears to be a clout chaser and attention whore. All are for black empowerment. TB found the perfect space to get his clout by triggering Tariq's pettiness.

You’re framing it as if cause and effect is not a thing. If you dox someone and call them a child molestor of course they are going to keep coming for you hence why there is an alleged suit for defamation. If we are ever going to learn from these situations we have to analyze them in totality sans emotions. You can’t say “oh he’s petty but so and so should have…” no, we need to stop and see if that pettiness is the issue. And I know it is from personal experience and I’m not going to make excuses for it. Some of the shit I’ve experienced from these people makes the statement “never meet your heros” hit so much differently.

100 percent his pettiness is and can be an issue .He's said it himself. I've said it a few times. Repeatedly said BOTH have done things in this whole mess. Fact is TB had criticism about him publicly. His right. In hindsight Tariq should have just kept it moving. TB has a small platform, not worth the attention and we can see TB relishses it. Doxing or not, he was going in as he did with another female influencer, relentlessly from what was said before. I like that 'never meet your heroes' line...lol. A relative of mine worked at one of the Hollywood studios and a PR person told their client 'Always try to be friendly to anyone. That person from Iowa will remember that one interaction for the rest of their lives and tell everyone they meet. 1,000 stories to 1000 people from one one interaction less than a minute'. Anyway, this seems like it won't blow over any time soon. I wouldn't be surprised to see TB show up in Dallas. I'm hoping Tariq puts him on ignore...probably not for now. But hopefully over time, looks at him like Sotomayor.

My guess is without the doxing, TB was going to talk about Tariq, harrass him forever. Doesn't matter. I think if Tariq ignored him after talking about him but without the doxing he was coming anyway. It's who he is. The doxing motivated him all the more but from what I can tell he was going to do it anyway.

Not excusing Tariq. But TB is known for being obsessive in matters like this. TB had every right to critique Tariq about anything. He should also accept what happens after as it was well known Tariq is petty up to and including doxing, puppets, cartoons, etc.

I agree with a lot of what you’re saying, especially the last bit, which is why I choose not to “go in” on Taharka Bey; but wearing a bodycam, antagonizing a black man, trying to get him arrested, trying to hurt his business is agent behavior. Too many of us are immature and looking at this as a funny internet feud but this is very serious and Taharka is very clearly in the wrong.

It’s not just “any” business, it’s a museum that was made with our money. It’s not like Taharka went up to Tariq’s ice cream shop that he made with his own money, he made it with OUR money. So we are entitled to scrutinize.

What happened is two petty atoms got together, caused nuclear fission, and now it’s Chernobyl. It’s childish and the Black community needs to be mature and start holding people who speak for us accountable. We pretend to do that but what we really do is go after the people our “pastor’ tells us to. I want the code to be the leader but it is not as of today. Because if the code is the leader the community would be coming down on both.

What's even more sad is the same energy we take in constantly disrespecting one another, as well as to exude such blatant violence amongst us, why not fuel all that anger and madness towards these Nabiscos, who genuinely dgaf, and that are on a non stop mission, at every cost and way, to exterminate Black people.

I can definitely understand TB not letting things drop after what was said about his domestic issues. I wasn't comfortable hearing all that but it's something that has happened before. Tariq mentioned Meechee X's kids, Meechee X has said 'F*ck Tariq's kids', Tariq mentioning TB's charges, people have gone in on Tariq's wife's ancestry and his mother in law. For me, that's a line, its all wrong, all of them. Even the mafia keeps women and children out of beefs.

Sadly, I don't see this ending anytime soon. Tariq has the bigger platform so has the advantage. He's the big dog. TB can score as much points as he wants but there won't be any knock out blows because from what I know there isn't anything unknown that can hurt Tariq that isn't already out there. You never know but it would likely have been out already.

The best we can hope for is Tariq gets so busy with projects, etc, that he slows down or stops and gets bored by it all. He physically confronted Tommy Sotomayor and now finds talking about him boring. So, hopefully we can get back to good content and projects with him. Fingers crossed. As for TB, he's riding this till the wheels come off. Seeing the video of his reaction, it seems he's actually liking all this. That's scary. He is pro black but if he continues for months and months focusing on Tariq its a bad look. Tariq will be bigger a year from now in all likelihood. Bigger Tariq gets, TB's rants on him will be dismissed as hater ish. Both need to think chess but likely won't.

How is it childish? You think there were no FBAs that needed the money that could provide security? What happened to Dr. Claud Anderson and group economics? You guys make every excuse for this guy who does not practice Black empowerment in his day to day life. He gets online and says black empowerment to get you to donate but when it gets down to it he breaking bread with Mexicans.

    1. Tariq has never said f*ck all black immigrants. Ever. His main dude (Ola) is Nigerian! LOL.

    2. One of the things Dr. Umar got on Tariq about during the height of their beef was Tariq has a white boy as part of his film crew. Tariq spoke on it. My guess? The security for the building is from a security firm. And the firm hires whomever. When Tariq hires personal security its FOI (Fruit of Islam) almost always. FOI is way too expensive for daily security at the museum. You outsource that to a security firm.

I felt silly even answering but whatever....lol.

...another thing. Not condoning it, not excusing it. But beefs like this is normal in any movement. All movements. White racist groups are way more divisive than we are believe it or not. Different groups have bodied each other. The press (even so called liberal media) doesn't talk much about it because its a bad look for white supremacy. Google has purged these articles. I've seen them and then can't find them at a later date.

in Race War we heard Jared Taylor and Richard Spencer beefing.

We all don't like it but its way more civil than past black groups actually like NOI and Black Panthers.

He rides hard on Black immigrants to the point that he instantly blamed the beating of Tyre Nichols on Black immigrants. Now the nigga is running around with Mexicans trying to intimidate another Black man and you all are defending it. Hollllly shit.

Bruh, he has repeatedly distinguished between down black immigrants and off code ones. His main dude is Nigerian. Plenty of blacks of foreign ancestry have called in and supported him and he's thanked them. Not sure what else to say. No offense but you seem like you are willfully ignoring that. So, let's be accurate on that.

Secondly, everyone has their line of what they will accept. Tariq has crossed whatever line you hold for not supporting him. Fine, all well and good for YOU. Projecting your standards onto others is what it seems like. I have no issues with anyone who still supports TB, Secure the Tribe or whomever Tariq beefing with , with a few exceptions (Tommy Sotomayor being one because he's not pro black). My line if the totality of your work, your whole paperwork. I allow for imperfection. My line is unique to me, and its never going to be same for all of Tariq's supporters. I accept imperfections in Tariq compared to his overall work. For you, his imperfections are enough to cloud his overall work. Fine, dap, we keep it moving. You can be a Tariq supporter and not a Tariq supporter and still be black first. Can we at least agree on that?

On a side note. Here is something anyone who has dedicated a lot of time, energy, money and emotion to helping black people will tell you.

It's often feels not worth it because you spend more time beefing with, being frustrated by the very d@mn same people you fighting for oftentimes than fighting white supremacy. You feel the ones you fighting for are ungrateful.

I know without even asking, Tariq, TBA, TB, Meechee X, Dr. Umar, Marcel Dixon, 000000.net, all will tell you that and some of the aforementioned got beefs here and there between themselves. It's gotta be tough as hell at times to muster the energy to keep going. But you remind yourself as best you can and the wins here and there keep you motivated.

Tariq's live. I started at the 47min mark - Tariq Nasheed: When Clout Chasing Goes Wrong

So he called Brandon a stalker but admitted in court he only comes around when he's not around. I'm listening like.. how is that a stalker when he's literally never been around you?? huh???

Then he claimed he only filed a restraining order to protect the female tenants he had. But the judge said if that's the case, they need to file it. But at the same time, Tariq's claiming he was in fear of his life. So confusing.

then he played the clip of Brandon "running away". But after Brandon stepped over the barrier, he stood there right in front of Tariq and continued filming.

it's easy to talk tough when each time he had security with him, yet Brandon and Taharka were the scared ones. But if you really bout that life as you claim, why have security?

He claimed Taharka never filed a suit. I find it very hard to believe dude flew across the country to just film footage of the museum. I believe a suit was filed.
Then this dude straight up said Brandon and Taharka are opps and COINTELPRO. usher laugh

Idk, this guy is wild. this whole "black empowerment" space gone wild. smh.

All kinds of folks tryna get views. My feed is sending people I've never heard of some with 500 subs, 1k views, etc. with headlines almost always as "My reaction to Tariq Slapping Taharka" and these are random azz people, regular mofos you see anywhere. Only influence they got is their loser homies and first thing comes to mind is "Why should I give a f*ck what you think?"...lololol Real talk.

I actually feel the same about Charleston White. I'm like 'So?'

Anyway, I hope TB doesn't show up to Dallas but I think he will. He's not gonna pass up that opportunity. I also think he's oblivious to how his public persona looks right now and has looked for a while.

Tariq will keep mentioning for the time being but hope it stops once the Dallas event comes closer. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Glad I'm not the only one. This is dangerous stuff...an obsession if you will. We're trending beyond online debates, jokes, teasing or even personal attacks for that matter.

There is a group that has cultivated itself within a narrow-minded echo chamber of frustration, jealousy and animosity. Its time we all took several steps back from the edge.... IF we truly care about Black ppl and/or fighting WS.

It can't go that way because it's against the rules of #provemewrong . No one can make baseless statements and no one can use appeals to emotion, straw man arguments, or etc. It's pure facts.

The prompt has to be straight forward, because I'm not sure Tariq fans can do a provemewrong. Nearly everything is met with a "so what?" And apparently anyone who questions Tariq is automatically an "emotional hater" and other names get thrown around. 🤷🏽 I also don't like "debating" with those who are enamored with narcissistic folks. I've done it in real life and it is exhausting.

Prove Me Wrong is a section I created where the original poster has to make a statement e.g. Tilapia is the worst fish in the world and then come up with 2 or 3 supporting points to justify that statement. People that don’t agree can attempt to prove them wrong but the rules are stringent. People have to address the supporting points directly, they can’t use logical fallacies,

So for instance, in this case, if the prompt is about Tariq, no once can say “so and so is a hater”. You have to break down the specific points in their argument to prove them incorrect. It’s a great exercise that I think we need to start getting into.

Dope. This will be easy to debunk because again, the Tariq hate is baseless and not supported by receipts.
