These outrageous sentences and wrongful convictions seem to only happen to us. Convict leasing and slave codes in full effect.

For once, and for the first time, I both agree and disagree with the Professor on his views in this broadcast.
While clout chasing clownery is particularly problematic on social media or in the internet world in general, a publicity stunt can have certain positive benefits. If you are trying to raise awareness to something of importance or that needs urgent attention, such that publicity makes it undeniable, for example.
While I personally abhor the idea of becoming famous, this was particularly useful to me in the years leading up to 2020. It is also interesting that, on the flip side of the argument, I was literally snubbed and low-key disrespected by certain individuals (higher ups, you might call them) for not chasing clout, at Tariq’s FBA Expo in Dallas. So while I agree that it’s certainly an issue worth addressing, Professor, not all people that engage in clout are rubes as you explained; some people just want to get the message out.
