Tariq can make way more money from keeping his hustle going than he ever could from getting a reparations check.

Tariq is channel striking Taharka how is that cool at all? That shows that Taharka is striking a nerve and so Tariq is telling on him.
Not defending Tariq, but I think it was a privacy strike. Taharka showed Tariq's address on one of his streams, so it was logical to expect that. I think Taharka alluded to this himself when he showed some info.
What's more telling to me is Tariq not even acknowledging the accusations, just retaliating with jokes. Like a magician, distracting you from what he doesn't want you to see. And so many are falling for it, or just don't care.

There are always rules. Who plays by them is a different story. Criminal charges are easily searchable online, so are real names. If Taharka wants to strike Tariq for showing his real name, or an edited photo of his son, he could. Taharka hasn't done any of that yet.
You can't show someone's address, it easily opens them up to physical harm. I don't really like Tariq, but he does have a family. Any number of people can take his address and stalk him and/or his family.
Taharka said he was doing a show tonight, but he hasn't dropped anything. I wonder if he got another strike.

Everyone in this space with a youtube channel in this space that I have seen has some means of people to donate money. Personally, I think its important for the people to fund those who are reparations speakers and influencers. The last thing I would think we want is for someone to have a day job working for a white person where they are under threat of losing their money or can be compromised. What made Marcus Garvey, MLK Jr and Malcolm X effective was that 100% of their money came from the soil, the people.
As for selling merchandise, I'm not sure what's the big deal. Anyone can buy or not buy it. Everyone else can make money selling merch if they have a youtube channel about any other subject, even religious channels, but if you talk about black issues, you can't make money?
Should a requirement for acceptance of legitimacy be partially based on whether you get donations, etc?
My guess is this will all end like this...

This will have next to zero affect to Tariq's base. He continues to grow and has massive influence. Doesn't matter if you don't like Tariq, complain all you like but it's going to be pretty much 'peeing into the wind'. Tariq's page has over 200k. It's been growing steadily for months and months now. Don't see that stopping.
This will likely help Bey's numbers somewhat and he'll get two kinds of people. Tariq haters will subscribe and write comments, some legit, some outlandish. But will also likely get a lot of Tariq fans clowning. Kind of a wash for him. He's at 25.6k. Most of us on here have never heard of dude, myself included. Looking at his views, they went up when he was exposing
the NFAC. They also went up when he was exposing Tariq. When he talks Moorish science they are much lower. People aren't interested in his main views.

...there are people who support Tariq and have never given him a cent. My homegirl is one. She ain't big on him like I am but she hasn't given a cent. Tariq knew what the real estate prices were before he made the mockup He is the one that said it was going to be two stories and that we only needed to put up $1M. He set the expectation not anyone else.
That was the original building from what I believe but even so and more importantly, there isn't any avalanche of his supporters complaining from what we can tell. I would like to say none but you will always have an exception, but I've not seen one negative comment by his supporters.

I actually have sympathy for Taharka Bey, I really do. I think he's a good brother. However, I do think the reparations rally was the wrong place to beef with Tariq. That day, that event is about unity and the cause and the work. I get it though, he won't get many chances for a 'face to face' but its the wrong place and time. I get it though.
