I truly hope that they are consistent and harder on actual racists on these platforms. Potentially wishful thinking, but I'm cool with this.
I’m 50/50 on this it’s concerning because the censorship is at the hands of a corporation but also good but she was a card carrying white supremacist as our man PBT would say.

I don't agree with this. I don't like that they can censor people just because they don't agree with them. Racists need to be on the platform so we can see who they are and where they are at. We need to be able to call them out on their BS. If places like Twitter continue to censor people, ban people, etc. they will not only make racism worse, they will ensure people will never come to any semblance of agreement which is bad for the entire country.
I feel you on that. Twitter is a joke and I was banned for calling out anti black[ memes from some pink asshole with 40k subs. I sold ALL my twitter stock for a gain tho. But Fam? How is banning racists going to make racism worse. Black Americans were enslaved before twitter ever existed. Now I don't like corporate censorship but I don't think giving White racists a platform to voice their violent ways is the right thing to do. This country has too much history with White terrorism to let it go unchecked. It's like spouting Nazi talking points in Germany...you're lucky if you don't get your ass kicked in certain areas. The problem here in the USA is that our Nazis never got prosecuted, in fact, they still run the country. You're in a ways advocating to let the Nazi party have a voice so that we can debate them.
MTG is a moron and if this was a country of actual truth and justice she would not have any power but this is not a country based on truth or justice. No this is a country that is based on White supremacy where people like MTG who don't have any damn sense whatsoever and are dumb as rocks have power. So yeah it's nice to have some pushback on her even if it won't last I see her getting her Twitter back in month or 2
It forms echo chambers which allows more of them to come together and repeat their ideas and get more people listening to them. If they get banned off Twitter, they go to another platform, one that is more often than not going to be riddled with even more racists (ones more likely to actually act in violence) who they can interact with behind closed doors. They feed off each other and grow in numbers and will end up a much larger problem that will go unseen. Unless someone outright expressed word for word that they have ill intent, it is important that we are able to keep an eye on them. Remember those Q nutjobs? They planned that mess from last year on Parler which was, at the time, a Twitter alternate and was a disturbing platform where racism was openly acceptable so as they got banned, they all ended up in one spot.

But racism is openly accepted in the USA which is the problem. The problem is these racists commit violent atrocities and either get let off or get slaps on the wrist. There was a guy who went on a rampage in Colorado I believe killing 5 and the police knew about him and his plans but didn’t stop him. Why? Because it’s a white supremacist nation and he was just continuing a proud tradition of terrorism. The entire USA is a safe haven and echo chamber for these types.
Hate crimes against Black people went up 40% in 2020 and it ain’t because racists were banned on Twitter. Until this country confronts it’s past and present it will never heal.
I think most everyday people either don't know it exists to the extent it does or they openly dispute it themselves cause they know it is wrong. It is always those fringe nutjob groups we have to worry about the most and social media has made it easier for them to gather and do harm. As I said, if they end up in their own box (on a separate platform) the problems will get worse.
People in positions of power who openly mistreat black people need to be weeded out first though. So in this sense, that MTG woman being in congress is an issue. I can see why people want her gone. We have an issue with our government, our police departments, and the corporate leaders though and I am not sure how to fix this without getting them out of power. But how?
The only solution I can think of is to change how people get into these positions of power. I said a while ago police shouldn't just be trained and signed on, they should be voted in. We should feel comfortable with who walks the streets and carries those guns. I am all for law and order but not when it is corrupted and he has been from the start. The government... Doesn't matter what side you pick, riddled with racists so they need to be voted out and we need to be better represented. As for corporations, we need to support and uplift our won through businesses. Stop buying stuff from white men. It is hard to get away from though since they basically monopolized the market off the backs of sweatshops in China for dirt cheap. Not sure how to fix that when materialism is such a huge issue in the US as well.

I have to start thinking that we do have some non FBA family that understand what we are doing but that's so few. There is a brother named George that calls into Jason Blacks broadcast and he isnt FBA but fully understands.
