Do you collect stuff?

Like sports memorabilia, collectibles, action figures, albums, movies, comics, etc. Whatever you like to collect. I know some collect knick-knacks, while others like to collect records, video games, and more. Do you happen to collect anything yourself? I used to collect comics when I was a kid, but sold my collect years ago. Wasn't worth a whole lot, so wasn't a big deal.

I also tried to collect action figures as a kid, but that didn't go well considering I lost every bit from the toys I ever owned. I did collect CDs for a while, but stopped when digital became a thing. I have a small collection of video games, movies, and CDs like mentioned above. I haven't really built the collections up in recent years though.

Do you collect anything?

Making any changes for the new year?

New year's resolutions, never been a fan of them, because I never follow through with them. Either it be to lose some weight, eat healthier, try new things & experiences, etc. Are you guys making any new year resolutions for 2022? I honestly don't care, 2022 will probably just be a continuation of 2020 and 2021's problems.

If anything, my resolution, is to try finding new work soon. I think I need to break free and try some new things soon. My work at the moment is limited me for a while, so maybe it's a time for change.

That's it for me, what is your resolution if you have one?

Things you enjoyed doing as a kid but can't anymore?

What are some things you used to do as a kid, but can't do anymore? One thing that comes to mind, is prank calling. I used to love prank calling local people, especially before caller ID became a thing in pretty much every phone out there. Now days you can't get away with it unless you know how to spoof your number somehow. Looking back, I was a total jackass, but back then it was so fun.

What are some things you've enjoyed doing as a kid, but no longer can today? Oh, going to a movie rental place like Blockbuster. It seems most rental stores are dead by now. Kids these days won't get to experience that anymore. That was part of my weekends, going to rent games and movies. Miss those days.

Don't ever go out like this.

I have no one in my family that would utter this nonsense out of their mouth. I hate seeing the buck dancing after justice is served, and you see who's coaching this minstrel show.

Will You Get the Booster Shot if Mandated?

It’s no surprise that the US Gov’t is working to change the the definition of fully vaccinated to “2 Shots + Booster”. If that happens and access to city services are limited to those not fully vax’d will you get the booster?

Right now I’m undecided. It’s a stern no for my son on vax and I’m not moving on it. What are your thoughts)

White Tears vs White Dollars

The white man is conflicted. White woman tears are flowing from cold eyes of Elizabeth Holmes. She (allegedly) ripped off billions from white men.

They are fighting like hell to keep her out of the slammer. She just had a baby because she might be going away for a long time...

You love to see it

How Would Life Look for Black Americans After Reparations?

In celebration of the launch of our sponsor's new novel "Nothing Will Come Between Us" we would like to know your opinion regarding our lives post-reparations.
  • What does a post-reparations America look like to you?
  • Where would we live?
  • Who would be our enemies?
  • What should be our priorities?
  • How should we ensure that everyone remains on code?
The novel "Nothing Will Come Between Us" is Author Josiah Jay Starr's take on all of the above.

Nothing WIll Come Between Us 255.png

The novel presents this alt-reality through the eyes of Nuria Sellers, an Agent who finds purpose in defending her Colony against Anti-Black threats. What we really like about Nothing Will Come Between Us is its grounded nature. Nuria is not your sterile comic book cut-out hero; she is gritty, nuanced, and imperfect. In this narrative we find her navigating the struggles of a post-reparations America in addition to the traumas of PTSD, constant betrayal, and the stressors of a failing marriage. Nothing Will Come Between Us is Black and proud, this is not a book that caters to White American sensibilities. This is by us and for us. It tells the narrative as if it's you, me, and us going through the trials and tribulations of an American society dealing with Black American equity.

P.S Author @josiah starr will be available to answer any questions you may have about the novel or any other works of Spirit of 1811 Publishing.
