Not going through all the pages, I read as much as I could before I got tired of the back and forth (now I know how y'all feel reading my back and forth with people).
Anyway, 'she' wouldn't even qualify for Division III NCAA for the event:
Division III mind you. Last place in the B heat of Division 1 final was 4:16. Just saying.
Real talk. Democrats bending over backwards with all this support is about money. Back in 2008, Obama needed money. The DNC was owned by the Clintons and they weren't going to give him money as they were salty he beat Hillary. Hollywood, organized by Geffen, gay man, made a deal with Obama. They'd send him tens of millions of dollars as long as he pushed LBGTQ in all institutions, military, marriage, etc.
The fact is most of the voting Dems will not support the trans movement. They are okay with gay marriage. But men playing women's sports? Nah, overwhelming majority isn't. That's just how it is. And once the masses stop supporting it, it won't happen. You got millions of Democrat union members in Ohio, Michigan, vote Dems every 4 years because Dems protect unions, they are not for it. You got Irish in south Boston, Italians in Bensonhurst, blue collar, vote Dems every presidential election. They don't support it.
I got a couple gay friends. I don't know if they think like most gays, but to them, they aren't comfortable with the present climate of trans pushing the envelope. They just want to be able to get married, white picket fence house in the burbs, with a couple adopted kids maybe and not be physically threatened in doing so. That was what they strived for. These guys are white. Maybe black gays think a bit differently, don't know. Anyway, they have said there was always a bit of 'tension' between 'traditional gays' and trans. But if they feel if they don't publicly support the trans movement, they will lose hard fought gains and internally its off code to publicly criticize any LBGTQ sector. The one I know best, is married in Cali and his fear is that there will be a reversal due to things like this. He wouldn't want his adopted daughter to lose an athletic scholarship to a trans male.
The brother on here talked about society should adjust to the new reality. Well, it doesnt' have to. Depends on the reality. There are some realities society will likely not adjust to. Child pornography is one. It's bigger than we think. It's a reality. Society will never adjust to it. I am not equating the trans thing to child pornography, just giving an example of something that is a new reality.
White society faked like it adjusted to the new reality of blacks having the right to vote, civil rights and all that. They never did. They just changed the way they operated. That's an opposite example of a good, new reality that whites still haven't adjusted to. Had it happened in earnest, the reparations movement wouldn't get off the ground.
The one group who deep down will never, ever accept the trans movement are biologically born women. It's never discussed openly but they are the first ones to say they are not women. If I had a daughter, she's not competing with them. Don't care how it sounds, she wouldn't. Be a woman all you want even though you are born as a man. Knock yourself out. But I for one don't want to adjust sports, and other facets of society for it.
This is going to come off hella effed up to gays/trans community maybe but I have to deal with hypocrisy and logic, etc.
In LA, California these days, if as a man you wake up one morning and say you are now a woman. It's accepted socially. Even legally in some areas if you are not accommodated. The state will recognize that on forms, etc. But if any man is arrested and says "er..I'm a woman...trans' The state prison, which is part of the state of California system will NOT immediately recognize you as a woman. You will be 'evaluated'. Outside the prison door, the state accepts you just by saying so but not if you are convicted? Make that make sense.
I am NOT equating trans with mental health although the following example will seem like it. I am just addressing lack of logic seemingly. Maybe there is logic in there. Same example. A man says he's a woman, he's a woman. He may have emotional issues dealing with how society treats 'her', etc. which is fairly common.
Now, there are people in mental institutions who don't pose a threat to themselves or others who believe they are...take your pick: Jesus, Napoleon. Alien from another planet or dimension. People who say they came from the past in a time machine. And are placed in a mental asylum. These people can pass a lie detector test because they genuinely believe they are Jesus or whomever. You can have such people committed as a parent or family member. But....and you know where I'm going with this, not if you say you are woman.
