If they were living I'd give them respect up until they forget I'm grown and need me to remind that I'm not letting anybody come at me crazy especially if I come at you correctly. But as I stated, Just because you don't like HOW someone says something doesn't negate the truth they're spitting. You can be mad because your feelings are hurt. Feel that pain and that hurt. Go through whatever emotional process you need to go through. But once you get over your emotions and realize the truth in the words, you'll live and you'll be fine.
This is what happens living in a society where "everybody gets a trophy". The whole damn world has gone soft and then everybody gets pissed because it gets pointed out. And the ones who tell it like it is are the bad guy's because folks want their feelings spared. Sometimes sparing feelings isn't the language people understand. But EVERYBODY understands getting cussed TF out. Because EVERYONE knows at that point, you done fucked up and there's no amount of playing the innocent brick-tossing-hands-hiding-victim that'll save you.
Obviously, you don't feel the same and I understand it. I even respect it. It's not your style. But just because it's the style of others, doesn't make them wrong. It's just wrong FOR YOU. And that's completely fine. Not sure it was your intention but your question is a bad faith argument. You're acting like everybody's grandmother is some sweet, kind, precious old lady. Some people, grandmothers or otherwise, need their mouth gone up in sometimes. But nevertheless, we can agree to disagree. Because just because you don't like how something sounds, doesn't negate the truth in the words.
